  1. That actually looks really good.
  2. They don't dart from place to place when they migrate.
  3. Never used one myself but Evergreen is a big company in Japan known for their quality. I'm sure they're good lures.
  4. It's a pencil popper style lure made in Japan.
  5. There's some guys out there who use the BFS reels and rods for dropshots. It's definitely more difficult on most casting reels. Basically the reason we use it on spinning reels is there isn't many casting rods and reels designed for finesse lures that are a good price. Plus the drag on spinning reels tends to be smoother. Personally I just like the feel of a spinning setup for finesse lures.
  6. They should, but they won't. It's all about money with those big corporations.
  7. I see. Yeah not the best for a frog setup.
  8. Get the regular Tatula rod instead of the Tatula XT. Better guides which matter a lot during the high stress of punching.
  9. They have it at Tackle Warehouse. Just put it in your cart the next time you order some tackle.
  10. Rubbing alcohol or magic eraser to clean it up. Then use U40 Cork Seal on it.
  11. Buy a Shimano. I like my Citica I ($150) better than my Lew's Team Lite ($240).
  12. Black braid blends in better in low light and under mats. This line is made for flipping and punching, that's why it's black.
  13. Not sure if heavy metal goes well with peaceful creek fishing...lol
  14. My favorites are Morning Dawn Red Flake, Prism Shad, Aaron's Magic, Green Pumpkin Neon. I'd recommend using the Roboworm Fat for the 4.5 inch. Same action but stay on the hook better and you can texas rig them if you want.
  15. Do think it's worth $80? The components seem really good for that price, but if the craftsmanship isn't great, I'll buy the ***.
  16. What didn't you like about it?
  17. Based on what he said I may just get the Elite.
  18. When I said "$20 less," I meant the Gander rod is $20 less than the ***. And actually it's $30 apparently, which is crazy since the guides sound even better and the blank should be better.
  19. I really like Daiwa rods and I've looked at their Tatula Dropshot rod. I'm just a bit weary because the last "medium light" Daiwa spinning rod I bought feels like a stiff medium.
  20. I drooled when I saw the pop up tackle storage.
  21. I don't even think my local Dick's sells G.Loomis haha. Maybe.
