Happens at least once a year
I witnessed something like this first-hand at Lake Nockamixon between Philly and Allentown. The guy and his son backed the boat down the launch, the son got out to help guide his father. After a few failed attempts to get it right the father jumped out of the station wagon to see for himself what the problem was and the vehicle rolled back and into the water. Once the water got to the level of the drivers side door it was impossible to open.

SNAKES !!!!!!
Spotted this rattler on the road going to one of my fishing spots. He was just sunning himself on a back road and didn't feel like moving. I took the photo from the car and thats as close as I got.

Golf anyone?
That gator would make alot of boots and belts. But my sister who lives in Florida tells me they are pretty much harmless. They tend to walk away from people. The only real danger is if you surprise them. A lady that lives near my sis had her toe bit by a little alligator that was under her car. She walked out to get in her car and the gator was under it and just bit out of fear. Having said all that I still wouldn't want to take my chances with one of those big ones.

Going grocery shopping today so I may pick up a box of Boo Berry (not sure if they even make it anymore) or Trix. Haven't had that stuff since I was 6 yrs old.

Found an empty soda bottle in my backyard. Asked my pop, he said "Ask your sister Cola". She said it was her boyfriend Dr. Pepper.

Mother Nature is a *****!
I got out today at a local lake to do a shake-down trip with the canoe. First trip of the year and when I got there the lake was calm. Got out on the water and the wind picked up bad. White caps and heavy winds made my first trip only an hour long and most of that time was paddling. Then the temps dropped 15 degrees in an hour and a half. Looking at the week long future weather forecast the next good day may not be for another week.

Super Glue
Loctite gel works great for attaching swimbaits to hooks and grubs to jig heads. To mend a torn soft plastic I usually just heat it up with a lighter and hold the 2 pieces together till the meld. BTW Loctite gel will work on soft plastics but other loctite glues won't. Make sure you get the gel. I made that mistake myself.

Hookset catchphrase?
I usually scream "FINALLY!!!!" Truthfully I just say "there's one". One time I was fishing with "That friend" (check out that thread) and after catching my 10th bass and he hadn't caught one I hooked into another and before I could say it my friend said it for me. lol

Stump Removal....
Ok. This is not a solution but probably the most fun way of not solving your problem. I would lower the lake and duct tape tannerite to the stumps. Just sit on the shore with a high powered rifle and have some fun. Like I said, this probably is not what you want to do or won't solve your problem cause some of the stumps will be left but it sounds like the best weekend of my life. If you decide to take my advice all I ask is you tell me when you are gonna do this and if I can't be there at least record it and put it on youtube.

Your 1-2 pattern
The lake I fish the most is a simple lake. The northern part is all weeds on one side and rocks on the other. Spinner baits first run through the weeds. Then jigs on the edge of the weeds. In the summer jigs and t-rigs in the heavy cover. In the mornings and evenings frogs over the weeds. If the bite is real tough I slow down and fish senkos and dropshot rigs.
