  1. I know the smallmouth spawn on the Susquehanna was compressed into just a few weeks. Crazy spring weather made it maddening to try time it. I only caught 3 bass during the 10 trips I took.
  2. Yea it looks that way but what it actually is is a twisted line with more line wrapped around it. Its all one piece but looks like it isn't. Its happened to me and I agree with @papajoe222 on how to untwist it.
  3. Lying is just another form of getting what we want. We all do it. From little children we are taught that a well crafted lie will get us out of trouble or more candy. This lesson is carried to adulthood and when we want people to think differently of us or we want to show people we are good at something we lie. Its not good or bad (except in certain circumstances), its just what we do. Fishermen and women don't lie anymore than anyone else. Its just a stigma attached to us. So continue to lie as much as you like. We'll believe you only if you believe our lies.
  4. Just from looking at a map I'd say you aren't to far away from the northern parts of Canandaigua and Seneca. I've shore fished at Seneca lake state park. Start there. Target smallmouths cause they are plentiful. I'll leave the specifics of what to throw to someone that is in that area.
  5. I never lie. ?
  6. If you guys are trying to make everyone jealous you did it. Those are some incredible hawgs.
  7. or portable toilet.
  8. My first set of tools was a Craftsman. Great thing about them was the replacement policy. I put a lot of wear and tear on my tools and never had a problem getting new ones free if I broke them.
  9. Kudos now you better get on that bathroom remodel or you'll never get another day on the water again. ?
  10. I've never fished that lake but it looks like they have some nice fish in there. Good video.
  11. I hope everybody is safe and gets out of the area alright. Remember things can be replaced, people can't.
  12. Where I fish there are pickerel/pike/musky that will bend and break a normal spinner bait so I've found it best to use Terminator spinner baits. They are more expensive but worth every extra penny.

Congrats on the PB. That is a certified hawg. Not many people get to catch a bass like that in their lifetime.
  14. Which one is you???? ?
  15. To all those who have served and are serving, Thank you.
  16. He's got a good point there. ?

You beat me by 5 on the Deep Little N's. They are just a great bait. As far as soft plastics that is easy. Berkley 7" Power Worms. I'm not sure how many I have but I do have more than my local B&T shop has, unless they are holding out on me.

Gotta think outside the box boys. I'm thinking Hot Dog Whopper Plopper. Or MegaBass VisionBratwurst.

  20. They're called "Furries" and we don't talk about them. Ever. ?
  21. Amazing, just amazing. At 14 to be smarter than most adults is incredible. Congrats to the young lady and I hope her future is as bright as she is.
  22. If I had a nickel for every time someone said that to me.....
  23. Love those brown pigs @RickB. Glad you enjoyed the best of the Susky. It is an awesome river in the spring. If you love topwater smallies try to make a trip up in the fall. Early in the morning when the fog is still on the water it can be explosive.
