Spinnerbait Help
First I gotta clear up that customs problem I had a few years back. I didn't know it was illegal to hide a llama in a Yugo and sneak it across the border. Stupid customs laws...right?

Other Species Bucket List
After binging on salt water fishing videos on YouTube I was thinking about the other fish I would love to fish for. Cobia have been on my list since I saw a pic of a huge one caught off a jetty by the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel. I've put Amber Jacks on the list as well, along with a big snook and a 20# redfish. All of my fish are salt water because living in PA I don't get to salt water fish. Let's hear from you. What fish are on your list?

Spinnerbait Help
I wanna live where u live. All the lakes around here are infested with pickerel. I routinely catch more pickerel than bass. Any lure that moves is fair game to those snot rockets.

Spinnerbait Help
If you got toothy, snake-like critters in your water (and I know you do) you should invest in some Terminators. All my War Eagles, Stanley Wedges, and BooYahs are broken but the Terminators are still going strong and running straight. Its worth the $10 bucks. Just use braid with them. And I always use a trailer. Usually a Kalin's 5 inch single tail grub in smoke salt & pepper or clear salt & pepper.

Gun Advice (Pennsylvania)
Do a lot of research and consult local game wardens to get the correct answers. Don't rely on what you read on a forum. All game wardens have a phone number you can reach them at. They will gladly answer your questions correctly. That is part of their job. If you do something without consulting a GW and you are wrong bad things may happen. I'm talking jail time and lose of lots of money. Don't risk it. Go to the authorities with your questions.

BIGFOOT SIGHTING
Do you think Bigfeetz believes in people? Or maybe some of his friends believe in people but most of them don't and the ones that do believe in people form their own little group to discuss it and share videos of what they think are people. And on weekends (whatever weekends are for bigfeetz) they go and look for them in abandoned towns. Let us discuss this.

FLW says goodbye to co anglers
Can't think of any other pro sport that allows amateurs to compete along side the pros. I'm sure the pros are happy about the change. I'm just surprised it took them this long to figure that out.

Pondhopping this weekend
Your health is more important than fishing. Take some time off and hang out in the frozen food section at the local grocery store. Maybe visit the penguin enclosure at the local zoo. Play a game of "How many ice cubes can I fit in my underwear?". Just relax.

BIGFOOT SIGHTING
Too many people with guns in my area to pull a Bigfeets stunt. Imagine how disappointed that guy would be when he finds out he didn't shoot Bigfoot.

Francis E. Walter reservoir/dam (& Hickory Run SP)
FEW is hard to fish from shore. Its a better place to fish with a boat or kayak. I'm not sure Hickory Run has smallmouths anywhere in the park. I could be wrong but I don't think I am. The stream that runs through the park can be fun to fish for trout but they are natives and small. As always, check the PA laws as to where you can fish and with what. If you want to smallmouth fish try the Lehigh River. The bass are small but plentiful.

Garage and Estate sale finds
I get great deals at local yard sales. Once I got a box of lures for 10 bucks. The little old lady that was selling them told me she bought the box along with other items she wanted as a group at an auction but didn't look inside all the boxes. Only thing wrong with most of the lures were rusted hooks. Most where spinner baits and crank baits with some random soft plastic worms thrown in. When ever I find a vintage Mitchell 300 spinning reel for under $10 I buy it and give it to my uncle. He loves those reels and still uses them. Most of the time the Mitchells I buy don't work but my uncle uses them for parts to fix the ones he fishes with. There's a guy at the local flea market that casts his own jig heads so I usually hit him up when I'm running low. He has better prices than most places and I can order specific sizes.

It's so hot...........
- What do you use in the dark?
My answer would be the same baits I use during the day. Literally the same baits used the same way. Willow leaf spinner baits with a steady retrieve, twin-tailed grubs on 3/8 ounce heads around rocks and crankbaits in deeper water. For me nothing changes in the bait, color or presentation.- Post a photo a day!
That is definitely cool. Retro all the way.- It's so hot...........
Its so hot Lance Armstrong tested positive for water.- poetic justice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- So I did it: I forgot to put the drain plug in.
But they are currently at the bottom of the lake. ?- Latest Catch Pics Thread
Dude that bass is just ridiculous. That thing has been eating like me at Thanksgiving.- Question for you Musky/Pike guys
A local lake I fish has tiger musky stocked in it. If you are worried about losing lures and don't want to change the action of lures drastically try using 20# fluorocarbon or 65# braid.- Lake temp's
Went out Thursday with a friend on his boat. The air temp had been in the 90's. Water temp was 87 degrees. We caught about 12 total which amazed me. Didn't think we would catch anything. - What do you use in the dark?
