  1. Ever since I saw people doing that I've wanted to try it. It just looks like more fun than anybody should legally have.

That is a massive bass. Truly a trophy.
  3. bits of beef jerky in it.
  4. I did well on the first day but the second day dropped me down big time. Most of my guys fell in the standings. The only constant was Hackney.
  5. Sad to hear that. My prayers go out to his family and friends. Remember the happy times and you will honor his life.
  6. Gonna stop by the track and put $50 on Vino Rosso. The name sounds like a mob-owned horse and you know what they say about mob-owned horses. They run like they've been shot out of a Cadillac.
  7. Have you tried dynamite? If you don't get any fish with it at least you'll scare off all the other guys who are catching fish and have the whole place to yourself. ?
  8. I read that Ford is getting out of the car business. They will only be producing two cars after 2020. The Focus Active and Mustang. They will mostly be making suvs, crossovers and trucks. The article states that Ford loses money on cars like the Lincoln Continental and if they are going to stop producing them the other cars that share parts with the continental, like the Taurus, will also have to go.
  9. Great for river smallmouths. I always make sure I have one in my vest when I go out. Especially when the water is clear.
  10. Dick's had a buy 3 get 1 free sale on Keitech lures. Picked up some Easy Shaker 4.5's to try them out. I'm thinking of rigging them like a senko wacky rigged.
  11. For me pretty much any bass lure worked below the surface will work for walleye. I've caught them on soft plastics, hard baits, spinners and jerkbaits. For some reason rattletraps catch more walleye for me than they do bass.
  12. I've been talking to an expert in the field of Sasquatches and all things Sasquatch related and he told me there are different kinds of Sasquatches. So far the ones identified are as follows. The standard Sasquatch. Found in the northern parts of the continental US this Sasquatch is the Sasquatch we think of when we here about Sasquatches. The Canadian Sasquatch. The Canadian Sasquatch is found north of the US border and is known for having a poor sense of humor. Pictured is the Canadian Sasquatch shaved. The Southern California Sasquatch. The Southern California Sasquatch is the smallest of all the Sasquatches. Its believed that its small stature is due to its vegan diet and smug attitude. If anybody has spotted other kinds of Sasquatches please post your pics here as this will be the official thread for Sasquatch research from now on.
  13. You are correct. I was thinking of anacondas. My bad.

Can't say I've ever watched any beauty pageant so no.
  15. Tell me that is not a piston its embedded into.

That is true. Even police have a hard time with adrenaline during a shootout. But I always go by the theory that any gun you are trained to shoot is better than a gun you aren't trained to shoot. If a revolver is your favorite carry gun and you have trained with it then its a better gun than a semi auto.
  17. Bravo Sir those are excellent catches.
  18. I hope they make a dent but being a realist I can't honesty believe they will ever eradicate those snakes. It would take a "Scorched Earth" policy to eliminate them. The Everglades are just too big with far too many places for them to hide. Keep in mind that these snakes originated in the Jungles of South America. A habitat much like the Everglades. That's why I say good luck to the hunters but they are fighting an uphill battle. By the way, I think it was funny that protests from environmental groups made the state agency scale back hunting in 2015. These are the same people who say California should remove bass to save salmon.
  19. I don't doubt you shot "A Bigfoot" but as we all know, where there is one there is bound to be more.
  20. I'm surprised nobody told @tcbass about Bigfoot yet. See he hides under docks with toenail clippers and beef jerky just waiting for senkos to land near him and then....BAM.
  21. Unfortunately the idiots that release them into the Everglades aren't being caught and charged. Just like the lionfish, snakehead and hundredths of other invasive species being released by morons.
  22. I was at an auction where 2 lefty Curados used (faded paint, scratches) sold for $100 bucks each.
  23. Sent in my rebate info to Berkley about 6 weeks ago. Got my rebate check today. $10 back for $8.48 in 7inch power worms. Only wish I had bought more.
  24. Circumstances are not surprising. They suspected when it happened that the extremely warm water and lack of oxygen had a part in the problem. They did think that chemicals released from factories and sewage from homes along the Susquehanna had played a part in it.
