Well Raider just be glad you work is nothing like mine. My co-workers can't be bothered with doing their jobs while they have their smart phones in their hands. Makes my job tougher because I'm the helpful sort of guy. Once my work is caught up I look around to give others a hand with their jobs. Then, of course, they go back to surfing the web for cat videos, recipes or googling their names. No wonder robots are taking jobs, they actually do them. Rant over.

I'm glad you brought this up Catt. I was just thinking today that I had never caught a bass on a wacky rigged anything. I've tried wacky rigging senkos, 4" worms, and finesse worms and never caught a thing. I have caught bass on texas rigged senkos and worms but never wacky rigged. Its odd.

A bass has a brain the size of a pea. Its only concerns are eating, mating and not being eaten. We make them out to be smarter than us because we routinely over-think simple things. We are all guilty of doing it. Why else would we spend billions of dollars a year chasing fish we are just going to release anyway.

3/8 to 1/2 oz. depending on the wind. Depth doesn't matter as much to me. But wind affects the feel of the bait I'm dragging.

Tweek I had a small jon boat when I was younger and only used a TM. Much easier than an outboard and you don't have the mess of dealing with gas and oil. IndianaOutdoors is right. How long a battery lasts has a lot of variables. Good thing is a TM allows you to get to the exact spot you want to fish and cruise along while still fishing.

Not where I live, just where I enjoy my life.

I've witnessed a roughly 17" bass try to swallow head first a 9" trout. That bass swam away with most of the trout sticking out of his jaws. It was incredible. I was fishing with a friend and said "Look at that trout.". He said it was a bass. I said "Nope, its a trout." and just as I said that I saw the bass swim in and grab the trout. Wild.

Still remember that day like it was yesterday. Hope I'll always remember it.

Wacky Worm makes their own jigs/swim jigs/ brush jigs. Like the quality and the fact that they use heavy, sharp hooks.

Just last week I was wading in the river, after about 2 hrs I heard voices and turned around to see 2 men (in their 40's or 50's) throwing rocks into the river like a bunch of children. I waded back and walked up the bank shaking my head all the way. I know nothing I would have said would have stopped the man-child and his bff from replaying the opening scene to The Andy Griffith Show. Makes you wonder why some people don't grow up.

Not sure the boat is illegal but you must carry some type of audible signal device such as a airhorn or whistle that is in proper working order.

The only problem I would see is if you were fishing from shore. Snags happen with cranks and retrieving them would be tough, not to mention all the braid lost. With braids lack of stretch it makes snags all that more tough to get out. I can't tell you how many yards of braid I've fished out of rivers and lakes with lures attached.

Gonna vent on this one. If steelers coaches don't work on teaching the fundamentals of football and how not to get penalized its gonna be a long season. If it wasn't for a T.J. Watt interception, a series of penalties would have made this game a lot closer than it is. 13 penalties for 144 yards...that is sad.

I like poppers or black ants. Also black ants work pretty good for trout on a nearby stream.

Down my way it would have been Yuengling Lager or Black & Tan.

Everything I hear about Subaru is they are super reliable. Should last a long time.

Plenty of fish where I'm fishing at so I tell them the secrets. Baits, locations, even about my lucky deodorant. Its a mix of Hoppes gun oil and WD-40 with just a hint of diesel fuel. Drives the ladies crazy.

Ugliest, most deformed bass I've ever seen. Must be a nuclear power plant near where you caught that one.

The Chiefs really put the pedal down in the 4th quarter. The pats defense folded badly. Looked like Brady had nobody to throw to in the last quarter.
