For me its pretty easy to tell what is on my line. Smallmouths tend to try to swim to deeper water when hooked. Largemouths will go side to side in the water column. Pickerel/pike just try to sit there and not move at all. Walleye/ tree branches/ lawn chairs/ old tires don't fight at all.

What about all the bad reviews on how it isn't very abrasion resistant? A good 75% of the reviews are negative.

Is napping a hobby? Well if it isn't, it should be. Matter of fact, I'm pushing to make it an Olympic sport. Besides inspecting the insides of my eyelids, I also like long walks in the woods, clog dancing and playing badminton without a net.

Spend double getting a terminator titanium spinnerbaits and you'll never regret it. Arms don't bend or break. The best spinners I've ever bought. Especially if, like me, you fish in an area that has pike, pickerel, musky.

Not sure how you would extend the deck on a fiberglass boat. Jons are easy to extend a deck. Lots of vids out there about how to do that. Also jons are very stable and for $5k you can get one with a good motor.

Things are starting to come alive up here on the Susky. Went out today and caught 5 smallies in 3 hrs. Most were 2 pounders with ***#. All were jumpers. Soon the big fish will be biting regularly. Hopefully the water level comes down and it clears up. Caught all of them on small spinners.

Its a big deal in my neck of the woods. I remember the only time I attended the final day and it was exciting. The kids who are playing really put their hearts into it.

Watching it live I'm still amazed at how fast these guys fish a dropshot rig. Normally I fish it way slower.

Don't forget putting the menace or craw on a swim jig. The action on those baits can't be beat.

I got Palaniuk, Martens, JVD, Pipkens, and Lane. I set my total weight lower at 74 lbs 14 oz. cause I think there will be a drop off in weights in days 3 and 4. Only one of my picks that worries me is Chris Lane.

I just watched a replay of it on YouTube. Ahhh, I love modern technology. No glasses, no traffic, no crowds, just me and my computer.

I've seen a lot less products/more open shelve space at my Cabela's in Hamburg, PA. But I've also seen the same thing at the Bass Pro Shop at Harrisburg in PA. Not sure why or if its because of the buyout.

I'm just glad its over. All day I was ascared of looking up. But now that my underwear is on the right way and Yetis haven't invaded my favorite lake I'm comfortable again.
