Last time I was in the hospital I had to check in through the ER. As I was checking in a drunk driver who was in a one car accident came in. He wasn't in the ER very long. Then I saw a priest walking into the same area they took the drunk driver. You can figure out the rest. It ain't worth it.

The Cotton Cordell Big O (3 inch size) is a big smallmouth bait for me on the river I fish. Easily the most of the productive spring time bait for me. Darker craw colors work most because in the spring the water is usually muddy.

These are Cabin Creeks Salty Spiders body and collar. 3in is large, the 2 inch model is small.

Cabin Creeks salty spiders are a good option. You can mix or match collars/bodies. CC's work for me in rivers where downsizing and matching the crayfish matter more.

I have one tied onto one of my rods most times I fish a lake. I use Arkie spider grubs with a mushroom head and dragged them through grass patches with great success. Its easily my "go to" bait when other lures don't work or I'm more interested in catching fish and not practicing a specific technique.

I use a lure with a single hook (jig, spinnerbait) and put a piece of a small plastic worm over the hook. That way you get the feel of casting a lure of a specific weight safely.

Why not? Oooo...eewww. Another reason not to bring bananas on the boat as far as I'm concerned. Why take the chance of that happening.
