  1. Mainly fished the area where it necks down and 83 runs over it. Fished it in the summer with T-rigged worms and lizards.
  2. Here is my take on country music today. It had to change. Country stations were on the decline until new country came along. New country is more popular than pop right now. More radio stations have changed to new country in the last 5 years than any other format. If country music was to become popular again it had to become new. It had to become more like pop. It had to change to attract younger music listeners. Younger listeners didn't want the old country that I grew up on. Names like George Jones, Glenn Campbell and Ray Price didn't translate to many young people. They needed their own country stars and their own country music. Much like younger people listen to Green Day and not so much Elvis. Elvis is as close to rock&roll today as Tammy Wynette is to Maddie & Tae. Music changes to reflect the times and the young listeners. Happens in every genre of music.
  3. Lost all my guns in an airplane crash. Just so happens the airplane crashed in the ocean so.....
  4. Never fished Marsh Creek so don't know. Sorry.
  5. I did once. Heard it was a great place for smallmouths. Didn't catch anything but only spent an hour there so can't really say if its good or not.
  6. Lake Redman is good too. Its south of Pinchot.
  7. From what I understand its just a split shot put a foot to 3 feet from the hook. Similar to a carolina rig but the weight is fixed and doesn't slide. Also no swivel.
  8. Good golly Miss Molly that is a biggin'. I'd give my left big toe just to catch a bass half that weight.
  9. That is a big, bad drum. Attaboy!
  10. We gotta check for those too??? I just hired an exterminator and I thought he would just set up some traps or something. Maybe put out some poison or spray around the rafters. This is why I hate winter.
  11. I never understood the point of these shows to begin with. Why don't they just come out on stage sing a song. No stupid awards or funny skits. Call it the "Our tickets are overpriced, our t-shirts are cheap crap and we don't sing the songs you want to hear so this is for you the fans" show.
  12. I love Susquehanna Fishing Tackle. They're about 2 and a half hours from where I live and every spring I put them on my tackle tour. Start at Cabela's, then to BPS, over to SFT and the long trip to Wacky Worm in the Poconos and back home. SFT is a great shop and worth the trip.
  13. Sorry to hear about your loss C22. When my dad passed away someone told me something that I still think about 3 decades later. I'll share it with you. Remember the good times and understand that they weren't just good times for you but also for your wife as well. Remember that those times were good for her because you were there.
  14. Cool. A trip like that has been on my bucket list for a while.
  15. I looked up the Hawaiian state record LM and its over 9 lbs. SM is over 4 lbs. Not bad.
  16. Nice hawgs. It was an amazing weekend weather wise. Saturday was in the high 70's and today was lower 70's and high 60's. Didn't even get that cold saturday night into sunday. BTW, dude you need new pants. Just thought I would tell ya.
  17. Sounds like a nice life Raider. Hope you enjoy it and never take it for granted.
  18. Don't remind me of all the things I haven't done yet. Not to mention hanging up the rods, cleaning the waders, unspooling the reels, taking back the canoe from the lake and so many more things I don't like to do.
  19. Wait a minute...There are bass in Hawaii??? Really?
  20. I stand up for my grandma.
  21. How about this cat. He seems like he means business.
  22. That was definitely an intense episode. I never thought they would kill off 2 characters on the season premiere. Honestly after looking at the comics online I thought Rick was gonna cut his own hand off.
  23. My opinion..... Get a cat. Even though in the Tom & Jerry cartoons Tom never gets Jerry.
