When does TW's Memorial Day Sale start?
i've ask them in the past and were either lied to or the person on the phone truly has no clue when or even if there will be a sale. i cant blame them for not letting the cat out of the bag though!

What's the skinny on the T-Wing
my sv cast a very respectable distance with almost zero risk of backlash. my lews reels will cast a little further but there is more risk of a backlash.. they both have pros and cons.

Tatula SV ?
i have a few questions for you daiwa guys. are the tatula sv and tatula ct the same physical size? i'm not familiar with daiwa's nomenclature 100,103,105, ct, etc. i've tried a tatula sv and found it to be very smooth and backlash free at the expense of a little casting distance. it could be that i need a little more time with it but it seems like with lower brake settings it may have been susceptible to backlash. at higher sttings it was backlash proof and had respectable distance considering it was impossible to bird nest it. the frame was a little larger than i had hoped for but overall a very nice reel. my biggest concern about changing over from lews reel is the frame size. any chance that the tatula ct's are any smaller?

Tatula SV ?
what's different between the tatula ct and tatula sv?. i think the sv has a shallow spool but what else? how about the braking systems , are they the same?

How many deer do you harvest a season?
harvest???. i harvest vegatables. deer are killed!. i only kill one, maybe two per year. thats about all i will eat so i dont see any need to kill more. i only hunt for meat. i usually let the bucks go and take a young doe.. my grandpa used to say "you cant eat the horns"!

Someone convince me I should be using FC over Trilene XL
in the past i tried fc and tungsten weights separately and thought "whats all the hype?". i have since bought a really nice rod and when i went back to fc i was like wow!!. then adding tungsten i was like wholly ****!!!!. i think it takes all the little things to add up for it to become that wow moment.. all that said several of my rods still use old school stren and im ok with that too.

echoMAP CHIRP series
i bought one and was really impressed but on my 2nd and 3rd trip out it started having problems and was constantly rebooting itself. i took it back for a refund. bummer seemed really nice.

Jump Starter
i can appreciate your battery maintenance plan and battery choices but sometimes people just simply forget and leave an accessory on or a good battery just simply fails. i'll take my jump box just in case or to help a fellow angler in need.

fish finder advice for new boat owner
i dont fish vertically at all. i guess dropshotting is vertical but its not somethinging that i currently do. i wouldnt mind using the bow unit to see what the rear SI transducer is seeing but i think both units would have to have SI for the networking to work that way. buying two SI units gets costly. i have also considered dumping all the money into the console unit and finding a swivel mount to allow me to swing it around and see it front the deck. with the bluetooth remote that humminbird has i assume i would be able to mark spots and possible change views without reaching for the unit. any thoughts on that scenario? does anyone offer a unit that is basically a dummy and just networks off the other unit?. essentially just a remote monitor to work with the main unit.

fish finder advice for new boat owner
I need to outfit my new boat with electronics and would like to get you guys opinion on what features are needed at the console vs bow. i would like to keep it under $1500 if possible. this is my first boat and i have little experience with fish finders other than looking at old school sonar units to see how deep and what temp the water is. i am not necessarily looking for specific brand recommendations yet just what options and features are best suited for a new owner not trying to get a second loan just for electronics. i'm thinking about GPS and SI at the console and DI at the bow. does this seem reasonable? i just dont want to waste money on features that i dont need or later regret not getting the features i needed to begin with.

BPS Pro Qualifier 2
i think you will find out that the 7:1 reels have the same ipt. the new reel has a smaller spool so they increased the ratio to keep the actual line speed consistent.. the same goes for the 6:1 reels.

Curado Price Drop? Competing with Lew's?
this! and i'm a lews fan myself...... asking for an opinion at bps is about like asking someone at walmart which shampoo is best. no offense to anyone here that works at bps but generally speaking the people there are not much help.
