  5. those monsters could be grass carp put in there to keep the pond free of nasty grass and stuff. There are some huge carp in the pond I fish too. Well now that you know there are bass in there you should keep on trying and figure out where the fish like to hang out in the pond. Judging from the pictures, they could be anywhere in that pond.
  6. great job, looks like a cool pond too.
  7. great fish lightninrod!

  9. He's all over the place. Do a google search and you can find all sorts of stuff.
  10. what he said, channel 75 on digital cable and channel 685 if you have digital cable. Also every Saturday from like 7-10 they have fishing shows on espn2
  11. last season I always threw my jerkbaits on baitcasters and then I fished with a guy who threw xraps on spinning gear and got the bait a heck of a lot farther than I was getting it. I also saw that show too, gonna have to give it a try this year.
  12. you guys are sick, just plain sick ;D ;D
  13. I mostly have to order things online because the nearest BPS ias about 200 miles away. When I do order it's almost always from BPS even though their customer service isn't quite as good as cabelas. I have a dicks sporting goods about 10 minutes from here and thats where I get all my lures and soft plastics but when I buy rods and reels it's always by mail.

  21. great story, it's too bad about the skunk but it sounds like you still had a great and memorable time.
  22. that's weird, I didn't think it was going to be shorter either... that thing is a monster though. Sounds like a sweet place to fish.
  23. nice fish!
  24. awesome, How did you have the corn rigged for the carp?
  25. I would say to keep on trying a bunch of different techniques and find out what works best in what area. It sounds like you are already doing that. I would use almost everything in there, especially weightless trigged plastics, those sound like they would be killer on that pond. Don't leave out jigs either, they could be really effective around submerged cover. Best of luck to you
