  1. AMAZING VIDEO LBH!!! Glenn congrats on the new PB that thing was defenitly a HAWG! Loved both videos, absolutly awesome!
  2. wow water temps already 60! They're about 30-35 here still :-/ 70 fish is outstanding, and nothing shows a good day of fishing better than some bass thumb
  3. way to go murray, keep at em!
  4. boy is steinbrenners son in law a real idoit. About to take over the biggest franchise in the MLB and be rich and famous but then goes and gets himself divorced!! Whose gonna take over for Steinbrenner? The team might be sold.
  5. a couple times aI remember being on the lake and seeing my favorite sight in the world. When you are deadsticking a senko and then your line starts getting taken to the left or the right and all thats left to do is rear back and set the hook. I always wake up before setting the hook though!!
  6. lol i figured that was just a glitch, but in the back of my head I thought he might have just exploded telling someone to get GYCB baits, Shimano Reels, and Yo-Zuri line so many times ;D ;D ;D
  7. I don't think you should be only limitied to looking at shimano reels. There are lots of great spinning reels out there that aren't shimano. Whatever fits your price range best and suits you should work. I defenitly don't think that Shakespeare would stand up over time if your planning on catching some nice fish. I fish mono and flouro on my spinning reels and don't have much trouble with line twist. Although Shimano does make great spinning reels, there are some very affordable reels made my pfluger, daiwa, and quantum.
  8. good job, and great fish. Keep at it...
  9. WHAT A HAWG! Those mattlure gills never even crossed my mind as being a bait you could just sit on a nest but now that i think about it it's a great pattern. Go get you another one of those varner hogs!
  10. lol yep you and avid have similiar problems. Except avid trys to squeeze his shadow into those pics. All in all looks like a nice fish.
  11. wow you must be psyched. Normally I see these threads and the fish look no where near what the poster said they weighed but that fish defenitly looks 7+.... AWESOME JOB!
  12. Alright I missed last years thread and now that baseball season is about to get started up I'd figure I would hop right in, look up to the stickys... Pg.43 already??? Well If you don't mind I'll try and be active in this thread this year seeing as I am a huge baseball fan. I have a feeling some of you won't want me here, seeing as not only is my team an AL team, I"M A YANKEES FAN! -NYY 07' all the way
  13. this thread has truly inspired me to start up a CHANGE JAR! ;D

I know exactly where your coming from!!! I find myself going down to the pond or out pre rigged with a crank or jig or something and then get a few bites nothing much...and then bam, out comes the pumpkinseed or watermelon senko and its all over for those fish!
  15. nice job cade! Got my first casts in of the season today but no takers. Will probably be another month before the fish get active. I too was using an x-rap, normally works good in cold water.
  16. Congrats on your tourney win. When are they officially going to call it Lake Randall instead of Varner???
  17. awesome DD fourbizzle!
  18. woo what a beauty!
  19. Holy Smokes... Nice fish man!!!!
  20. Spinning- Always have used Berkley Trilene or Trilene XT, but recently got 2 spools of yo-zuri hybrid for christmas so will defenitly give that a try this year. Baitcasting- Pline CXX for cranks and jerkbaits and Power Pro for t-rigs,jigs and frogs.
  21. My least favorite brand would probablly be a cheapo like Renegade. I also can't stand Shakespeare.
  22. 7lbs. 3oz. caught on a green pumpkinseed trickworm with spot remover jighead.
  23. For you guys that get ice, what would you say performs best when the ice is just freshly melted and for a month or so afterwards?
  24. wow what a great body of water you have access too. I wish there were places like that around here. Those fishes mouths defenitly look really small for their bodies!
  25. That's awesome. Hope you find the perfect replica! Will there be a link for the newspaper article??!!?
