there is no best rod. Most of it is infact personal prefernce. You have to find a rod that you like and is perfect for your price range. Then, it will be your "best" rod. JMHO

reminds me a lot of that show on espn2 called record hunters. They caught all their peacocks on topwaters too and on the rio *****. Were you using the same guide service as them. They also showed an episode were they prepared a shore lunch just like that one?

I did the same thing and went online and filled out a shopping cart on BPS. I circled the things I really really wanted and the others uncircled were ones I wanted but didnt desperatley need. My parents offered the idea because they have no clue what specific things I like. On this list includes a shimano citica 201D, a bunch of different types of soft plastics, some jerkbaits, cranks, and some more spro bronzeye frogs.

i used the smaller version one day while fishing with my uncle in a private pond for bluegill. Thing was killing them when we tipped it with nightcrawlers. never tryed it for bass. Maybe for pike you could tip it with a fathead minnow or shiner?

Exactly. If Manning could just have a solid defense for a couple years he would defenitly have a superbowl under his belt. Heres a stat for you, every year since the NFL started, the superbowl winner has had a defense AT LEAST ranked in the TOP TEN. Manning had this only one year, and they were number 8. The ended up getting upset by the future champs with one of the best defenses in a while with Palamalou and company.
