Vanish has quite a bit less stretch than Ultra Soft, but it is also a little bit stiffer. I would say castability of Vanish is right in-between Ultra Soft and regular Hybrid, but Vanish is also less visible. I grew up using Trilene XT, and while softer lines are a little more forgiving when you cast; I honestly don't mind memory, and enjoy the benefits of stiffer line. I have always used Trilene Xt because it is the easiest to find considering I only have a dicks to go to for tackle unless I go online. However, if the hybrid is good, I will consider bulking up on it for next season.

Awesome story i agree with everyone else. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Makes me want to go fishing in my little pond so bad. But there is that I-- word that won't give me a chance at those beautiful green things.

theres alot in the price range of 100-120 that will serve you just fine. Obviously most will recommend the Citica because it is a very reliable reel for the price. I myself would recommed the citica as well.

I actually asked for a couple spools of ultra soft and ended up getting Hybrid and was wondering the same thing. I guess I will give it a try, but I still want to get some ultra soft as well.

Had a great Christmas this year. I got everything I put on my BPS cart that I emailed to my dad so he could make sure he got me the right stuff. Some of these things were: 3 Spro Bronzye Frogs 4 packs of Senkos in various colors 2 Rapala Xraps 2 DT-6's 2 DT-10's My favorite present, Shimano Curado 101D (reason I am selling my pflueger) As for non-fishing stuff... I got a bunch of video games for PS2 NBA Live 07 Madden 07 The new Call of Duty Blackhawk Down MVP Baseball 06 are just some of them, my brother got a bunch too... I got some clothes, a couple pairs of basketball shoes, new casual sneakers, a gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods for $50 And My second favorite is my Grandma got me a new Casino Sized poker table w/ new chips too. One of my most memorable Christmas to date, and to top it off I also got to see alot of relatives that I haven't seen in a while as well.

my favorite frog, I got three more of these things for Christmas. I can't add to what Brad and phisher said because they hit it on the nail. This thing will catch fish not only in the typical pads and grass but I've caught fish around docks and open water with this frog.
