wooo hooo.... just looked out my window at the lake and pond... ICE OUT. After 3 mid 50's to low 60's days in a row the ice finally cleared!!!! I can't wait to get out there. Next weekend will probablly be my maiden voyage.

i guess mine is kind of like fish tanks... people who have great potential but no work ethic or desire. especially like kids on my basketball teams who could be some of the best players in the area but decide to goof off and not go 100 percent in practice and in games! It just annoys me seeing people not try. Also because I am very competetive and don't need much incentive to work hard and compete at something, I get annoyed with people that just don't try in a competetion like in school or something and ruin it for the kids that are competitive.(this also happens in basketball)

The Yankees did used to play that song for Oneil. I would go with an AC/DC song, all their songs start out really good. That's what I listen to when I work out and go for runs.

I am really starting to get some big time cabin fever now. After seeing all these pics of lake fork and huge fish I am just dying to get out there. Today it was almost 60 degrees out. Hopefully I will make my first post in the outings section since the fall. Can't wait... Anyone else from up here really anxious to get out!?!?

wow nice fish. We used to have a thread like this going where people posted their pics of fish they knew the weight of and we played a guessing game.

Awesome fish. The first picture I think makes the fish look smaller but the other two make it look like a real good fish. It's hard to guess the weight. I am with lightningrod...don't forget a scale!

yeah and alot of ice. Looks like the spawn is on hold for now... :-/ Dude spawn won't be in full swing until maybe mid-end of may at the earliest. We are still all ice here.

i wouldn't go there every single day targetting that one specific fish and throw everything at her because she may become lure shy. I would wait a little while longer and make sure the conditions are right and be very careful when you get hooked up. Good luck
