Fished today about 7-12. Slow day only boated 5, 1 on a buzzbait, 1 on a toad, 1 on a frog that weighed 3-3 and 2 on a... 10" plastic worm? Wow thats weird?. anyway 1 of those was big fish of the day at 5-12. ( 3-3pic exceeds size total)?

Water temp, Weather, blah,blah, blah. 99% of the time I'm starting with a buzzbait, plus whatever i was catching them on last time out since its already tied on.

If you're refering to the ninja grass blade i suppsose you could put multiple on the motor however if you are asking about opposing/ back to back its not possible as the blade wouldnt be over the prop hub as it needs to be if you put it on backwards.

Got out today about 7- 12:30. Got 14, 1 on a texas rig yo mama, 1 on a bladed jig,2 on a spinnerbait and 10 on a buzzbait with the best a 3-12 on the buzzbait

Agree with this. Mine are at least 6 years old. I keep them in a ziploc bag and they still work (and stink) like new.

I think any of those hooks would work although the first 2 look like they have more gap than i would like. I've used double hooks and screwlocks and don't like either personally nor do i use weighted hooks and prefer mustad grip pins. For gear straight braid on a heavy power rod for me. Finally those toads mentioned are fine but my toad of choice is the big bite baits top toad which by coincidence i had 8 packs land on my porch today.

The moment I find myself reaching for 3/4 or 1 oz. Weights im grabbing my double wide beavers and 6/0's.

Got out after work today from 3:30-6:30. Boated 6 bass, 1 on a toad and 5 on a buzzbait with the best a 6-7 on the buzzbait.

1/4 and 3/8 oz. For single buzzbaits and 1/2 oz. For double buzzbaits

Im not much of a crankbait guy but when i throw one the large egg crank is my go to almost always. I was out this past tues. And the bass were all over it. No big ones but a bunch of healthy, feisty 2-2.5 lbers. As for the discontinued color im guessing you're refering to my favorite xxx bone shad. Im down to my last 3 and get stressed out every time a pickeral chokes one.

I dont think they worry about how much they can swallow only about taking advantage of a feeding opportunity. One time back 25-30 years ago i was throwing a 3" chartreuse grub and hooked a 12-13" smallie. Had it hooked dead center in the upper lip. While unhooking it i realized it had not only a 4-5" fallfish in its throat but tucked into its left and right cheek were some sort of chartreuse larve looking things that were virtually identical to my grub except without the curl tail

March 26th caught this 2.5ish bass smoked a bladed jig with this bullhead in his throat.

I dont really check water temps at all except to feel how cold a bass or blade of a spinnerbait is to the touch. I know i dont like to fish cold water early or late season where i must attempt to exhibit some semblance of patience to succeed as patience isnt in my dna. If i had to choose id say whatever temp gets there metabolism max jacked to kill in the summer. Seeing them destroy a frog,toad or buzzbait or having a punch rod almost ripped from my hand as my bait flys by there face is what gets me wound up.

Ive seen all kinds of fish sticking out of their throats and always the tails never the heads however with crawfish i always see the claws/ antenae. About 3 years ago i was out and saw a good size fish wallowing and thrashing on the surface which i thought was odd as this usually means carp but there arent any in this body of water and it was out in about 10 feet of water. Went over to have a look and i must have really spooked it because when i got about 5 feet away it thrashed violently and was gone but the pic below below is what was left behind. This perch was at least a foot long and as you can see swallowed head first.

Fished today from 7-12. Caught 13, 1 on a plopper, 3 on a toad, 3 on a bladed jig and 6 on a spinnerbait, with two decent fish on the spinnerbait that weighed 3-2 and 3-4.

Got out today about 7-12, boated 7, 1 on a spinnerbait and 6 on a frog with the best of the day a 4-6 on the frog.

Dont know about walleye or crappie but up my way if you catch five pumpkinseed and five bluegill you just tell people you caught ten 'kivahs'.?

Got out today 7-1 only managed to boat 5 bass,all on a spinnerbait.had 4 others run up and just nose bump my bait.Best of the day came in at 4-12.

Slightly late post but got out monday about 9-2. Got 15 bass, 8 on a spinnerbait with the best at 5-12 and also 7 on a buzzbait including 3 that went 3-2, 3-12, and 3-15. Heres pics of the 3 largest of the day.
