  1. You could probably use an open eye siwash hook to make I a single hook bait.
  2. Kinky beaver
  3. Lure parts online has pretty much every blade imaginable.
  4. That's great! Love that show. Whenever I go into my recorded shows this is the 1st one to get played.
  5. Sorry , yes janns netcraft.
  6. Glad to help. Just thinking both stamina and janns carried the same lineup of no name baits back then. If you got in touch with janns maybe they could tell you more about who made them. Stamina/lpo changed ownership so im not sure the new owners would have any info on them.
  7. These look to be a type of bait that was sold by l.p.o. back when they were stamina as well as At janns. I've got this one left that I bought probably 20 years ago. It's never had hooks or seen water. Dont recall catching anything on any of them. I think i.may have given my nephew a couple back then wouldn't surprise me if he still has them kicking around in his box
  8. Been buying stuff all winter whether I think I need it or will ever use it. GF says last week ' what's up I havent seen any packages in a while?' I said just cuz you don't see 'em doesn't mean they didn't come only that you weren't here when they did??
  9. I'm jealous!? by the time the ice melts here I'll have forgotten again??
  10. This I one of those things Ive seen many times over and think 'i gotta try this' and then i forget about I when I'm on the water.
  11. Very early or late in the season i start with a spinnerbait otherwise its a buzzbait. And then from there it depends on season, time of day, weather and what body of water.
  12. Spinnerbait-chart./wht. Sz. 4.5 gold willow over Sz. 2 nickel colo.
  13. PB lmb and smb weight is all i really keep track of in the back of my mind. However if pressed for info. I could list several pb's by bait type as well as crappie and yellow perch by length.
  14. For starters I'll say my favorite bait is an R.I. double wide beaver. As for hooks and weights I want to echo what was said above. 1st I agree with @MN Fisher on hooks, I was always an ewg guy but through trial and error ive found I prefer straight shank for worm style bodied baits like crawworms and brushhogs and ewg for beaver style baits. And as for weights I agree with @Mike L it's better to go with the heaviest you'll need.
  15. X2 on this. Day off outings I've got time to do either. Before or after work trips of 2-3 hrs. I'm getting right to it.
  16. 1: spinnerbait 2: jig 3: a; bladed jig shallow cover b; jerkbait in open deeper areas
  17. Alot of thoughts on this but of the 2 I go with the double willow for where I fish. Have to add that a tandem gold over nickel was my go to for years and I've caught a million bass on one and It took alot of head banging wall to make me realize the waters I fish where Ive lived for the last dozen+ years it wasnt the right choice. Also will say that I use single Colo. Baits more than either of the 2 asked about. Also im a shallow/fast spinnerbait guy all year.Having said all this i will add that a tandem bait produced my 3 largest spinnerbait bass.
  18. Spinnerbait, with copper colorado blade.
  19. I've used the uni knot for 20+ years, for every type of line, any pound test for any lure. The only exception being a doubled line uni for punching. For me its the easiest to tie and i dont recall one ever failing.
  20. I've got 6 'usual' spots ,4 of which are 2-4 min. away and the other 2 both about 12-15 min. drive.

  22. I think you should be o.k. If color bleed isn't an issue with the finished product (skirt) then it shouldn't be a problem with storage.
  23. They're both Oklahomas. The top is a 'regular' and the bottom is what I believe terminator called 'beveled' blades, this one an oklahoma. Somewhere in my box of ne'er do well baits i have a couple old titaniun baits with beveled willows.
  24. Lot of things mentioned here that irrigate me to no end. However the one thing that will ruin a trip for me is a broken rod. Especially if I've got to replace it at retail when I got it on sale.
