Those White Rods
Yeah, they do kinda look white at first glance. I'm not gonna say there aren't junk rods out there but a lot of rods issues come from how you take care of them, what your trying to do with them, and the most common factor of user error.

Those White Rods
I've seen plenty of other brands broken by pros as well. I've broken plenty of non Duckett rods myself. Haven't had a Duckett fail me yet. Everybody has their own preference and opinion. To each is own.

Favorite Rod Manufacturer
Hands down Duckett for me. Tried a bunch of others and none compared to Duckett's for feel and quality to me.

Action Cameras for fishing
I've glanced at a few of the cheaper ones on Amazon but not sure of their actual quality. Lots of good reviews but who knows if they are true and accurate. I was looking at a few of the Akaso's and Apeman's. Who knows on their actual quality though.

Action Cameras for fishing
Thanks for all the advice so far! Very informative. I guess the biggest reason I wanna stay cheaper is just to make sure this something I even wanna do. Worth all the time and effort.

Action Cameras for fishing
Thinking about getting an action camera for filming while fishing. What's everybody using?? I've looked at a few but seriously don't wanna spend $300-$400 on one. Just seems like something I'd like to have to document so catches and trips.

I'm about 99% sure I'm gonna go with the Legalis LT 2500 XH. Thanks everyone for your input and advice! It's very appreciated!

Daiwa spinning reels for Ned rig.
I'm def leaning towards the Fuego LT. Seems to be the most popular reel.

Daiwa spinning reels for Ned rig.
There is a Daiwa BG 2000 new in box in the flea market forum. Not sure if that's what I really want or not.

Daiwa spinning reels for Ned rig.
Looking for a Daiwa spinning reel to pair with my Duckett Micro Magic Pro 7' ML/F. Kinda looking at the Daiwa Legalis LT or the Daiwa Fuego LT. I did also take a look at the Pflueger President XT and the President Supreme.Open to suggestions. Like to keep it under $100. Thanks.

In search of a Duckett rod for Ned rigs.
Looking at getting a dedicated Ned rig setup. Would like to stick with Duckett rods but not too sure of my options. Only the Micro Magic line has a ML/F and then rest of the lines have a M/F. Opinions on ML vs M for Ned rig. Thanks.

Blueback Herring Swim jig trailer
The more I see the Pro Blue Pearl Red color, the more I like it!

Blueback Herring Swim jig trailer
The funny thing is that there aren't any Blueback Herring in the river I fish, but the smallies tear up blueback herring colored lures.

Blueback Herring Swim jig trailer
Also thinking maybe the Rage Swimmer in Pro Blue Red Pearl might look good.

Blueback Herring Swim jig trailer
Anyone throwing blueback herring swim jigs? What color trailer are you using. Try to decide wether I need a blueback color trailer or will a straight white trailer suffice? I have Rage Swimmers in white and Sexy shad and Rage Menaces in white.

Leader for Froggin'?
I would never even consider a leader for frogs. Just a connection you have to worry about. I want to be able to just jack those hooks straight in and horse the fish where I need it to go. Plus if you get hung up or caught it's not a point of weakness.

Swim jig/swim bait reels
Someyimes it doesnt matter what speed your reel is. Faster reel will definitely help sometimes though. My swim jig reel is a 7.3:1 but I've used a 6.3:1 before and didn't have many problems catching up to fish.

Dobyns Fury versus Falcon Lowrider
Dobyns Fury hands down.

The latest sale thread
Im hoping too, but not looking good.

Trailers falling off while skipping
I would definitely recommend a jig with a screw lock or good keeper, but if you like the jigs you have a dab of super glue will work wonders.

Shallow water drop shot
Never too shallow. Theres a local pond that i stop at from time to time and get laughed at because some times I show up with only a spinning rod with a drop shot tied on. Needless to say I get the last laugh when I catch tons of fish and nobody else is catching anything. I think the deepest part of the pond might be 8ft max.

Paying a little extra for clamshell packaging and yet
Same here although I do like the clamshell packs. I've had plenty of deformed or bent finesse worms, trick worms, swimbaits, and ultra vibe speed worms and its never stopped me from catching fish.
- Frog rods: long or short?

Brand Bashing
Bingo. Well said. It's kind of like the bad experience I had with Strike King sunglasses. I gave them a shot 3 times and even though each time their customer service was fantastic and took care of me, the product just wasn't up to par. If you would look in my boat and in my garage you would see that I'm a huge believer in Strike Kings products beings almost 75% of my lures are theirs. Can't base a feeling on one single product or one bad experience.
