What he said. And I guarantee you %80 of them have never fished with one for a day.When I go out with my buddies and they have some of the high end diawa and Shimano they always let me try them for a while. I never bash them because they are nice. IMHO Lews is better especially for the money.

I have friends with Steez reels and we have swapped and we would disagree.

So far from true it's not funny. I have that same reel and it's smooth as silk. It's as smooth if not smoother than my friends Diawa and Shimano reels and I outcast them constantly with it.

I hope they are careful when they go to reduce the weeds. Lake Mahopac in NY state had lots of weeds years ago so the homeowners had a study done. They then put in 3 times the amount of grass carp that the study said they needed. Very shortly thereafter every single weed was gone. They decimated the lagemouth population. The smallies loved it and thrived.it has since recovered some 25 years later but now they want to do it again from what I have heard. Total stupidity in my opinion.

Ok if I catch anything other than bass it's an accident. I've caught 2 trout in my entire life. I've caught a few pickerals while bass fishing. I've caught 2 walleye and some white perch and a catfish. This is from 1967 to now. Is this normal for most of you guys? I never use live bait . That probably has something to do with it.OK let's here about you guys.

Yeah I had a buddy who fished glx Loomis with powerpro and constantly grooved guides. My Bass Pro Rods never had that issue.
