  1. Robert, Let us know how you like the inshore for throwing big swimbaits as that is the next combo that I am looking at and the one you have looks perfect for the job. Nice upgrade too and do you mind letting me know what it cost? Corey
  2. Looks like a Black Max was my first thought, and the second was do I have 38,000 Yen??? For all I know that could be half a million dollars.
  3. Now we're talking! When the sale first started you could buy the rods individually, but that changed after a week or so. I'm glad you were able to put a package deal together. I bought a rod myself and have always had good experiences doing business with Reed's. 8-) Yep, I bought one then too and decided that I needed another so I rounded up a group of buddies and got the maximum discount. That and they will ship up to 100 rods for the same $15 fee. Call and talk to Lee to see what is in stock. Cant wait to get my new Jig Rod and another Avid
  4. Just ordered 5 of them(not all for me) for less than $100 per rod shipped. Another great deal from reeds sporting goods.

My friends and family have AC/DC Back in Black, anyone associated with work has the 24 ringtone, and the old lady has her own! :
  8. Go see a chiropractor, I had a similar issue that one movement of my neck would send a shooting pain through my arm and hip. A half dozen visits to the chiro and I felt alot better.
  9. 50 lb Power Pro, but this year going to also try some 12 lb Hybrid early in the year when they are more finicky.

  11. RWHusker just because he is the most likely for me to fish with(that I already do not) and FishChris as he may teach me some patience
  12. Bass can and do eat turtles, have seen proof before. Would it be a bait I would use, no
  13. My refund will go to fund my IRA for this year. It is not much fun now but one day will be.
  14. So we can blame it all on the government, who taxes those goods and businesses. And the government supports the people, and the roads they drive on, the schools their children attend, etc...so then it is all the people who are at fault? :
  15. You do realize that business do not pay taxes. Since when do businesses not pay taxes? : Since they pass those taxes on to the consumer. Businesses still pay taxes, based on profits. It is also one of those things that is seen as double taxation...businesses pay taxes on their profits and then investors pay taxes on the dividends and gains that they make investing in that businesses operations. To say businesses do not pay taxes is just ignorant.

  17. Yep hunt them too, have a few buddies I am guiding this year and also a pair of guys from South Carolina. Should be a good season as I can scout more now, although going with my bow this year to present more of a challenge.
  18. Black and blue, pumpkinseed, or one I like the color of but have not tried yet due to a foot of ice is Crigger Craw, one of Karu Lures colors.
  19. Cool video, but do they not require that gun hunters in Texas wear orange? I never saw blaze anywhere in that whole video. Not trying to be negative just curious as to their laws.
  20. Ronnie, That is a fantastic video, made me tear up a little too in honor of those firefighters. Makes me think back, my dad was asked to go out to support the lacking FDNY the next day and couldn't, but always a day to remember and a great tribute.
  21. At least then he would seem somewhat normal : I mean we all do it once in a while
  22. Have used ***, delos, *, karu lures, brushy creek lures, and swampbaits. That pretty much covers everything I need for bass fishing. Have never had a problem with any of the above sites or stores either, BPS is the only one that use to give me fits...not anymore though :
  23. What would you recommend to use that sort of rod (6'8 MXF) for as far as application goes?
  24. Muddy for small jigs (1/4oz) and weightless plastics I just bought a 6'8 St. Croix Avid MXF and love it from what I have seen playing in the yard and casting. I do not fish much structure or very deep water so the M power should not be much of an issue.
  25. I am not an advocate of child abuse but I was thinking more like an 8 foot 2x4 right to the glasses might be better suited. Then I would be shipping the kid off to military school. :
