  1. What if these people were killing these fish to take to the fish market, I know of a local market that pays around 40 cents per pound. That wouldnt be a bad day of bowfishing or spearfishing. From what a guy at the fish market said most of those fish go to make the fish sticks so many of you enjoy.
  2. Take your protein shakes, eat alot of pasta, take an omega 3 pill per day, and a multivitamin. This did more for my body than creatine, and all those other supplements. Also eat often like said before, I am dumping something with protein in my body every 2 hours. And most importantly is rest, get plenty of sleep and there is no need to workout 7 days a week.
  3. I know a guy around here that is very big into it and he takes the fish(pickups full) to trappers or to pig farmers who then feed them to the pigs. Otherwise they become fertilizer for his garden. They try to make the best use of the fish even though they may not eat them.
  4. It is equivalent in diameter to 6# test, but has a breaking point of 11.9 lbs. It is a great line for spinning tackle. Corey
  5. Ugly, that smallmouth looks cool to me, and mean > Regardless they are all nice fish, congrats!
  6. Another nice fish and that fish has real nice colors IMO. You keep nailing them on those spinnerbaits, I cannot wait to get out and throw one this weekend. The 4.5 day weekend should produce some nice fish. Hopefully I do not get outfished by my girlfriend like some of the other guys on here! Corey
  7. Very nice fish and I dont think I have ever been outfished by my mom, and I surely wouldnt admit it on here ;D Corey

I thought as a fan it was DelaHoya...but as all of my buddies who are big into boxing Mayweather won the fight by the numbers. Not sure how that works but no one 'WON' the fight in my opinion. Overall with Oscar's aggressiveness and how they looked at the end I thought he had it. Mayweather is just an arrogant punk and hopefully he takes one on the button ones of these days.
  9. I agree with most of the stuff said but college is more than an education, its an experience, probably similar to having kids or retirement. College was the best times of my life, the friends, the fun, and the education. You learn so much more in college than just your major or concentration of studies. It teaches you about life, and how to manage your life. I would say go, and once you graduate you will probably want to go back, or take more classes. I have taken 2 classes since I graduated 2 years ago just for the hell of it, and because I had an interest in learning. While there are plenty of proffessions that I would reccomend skipping college, entrepeneurship is not one of them. Take some classes, some management and administration and accounting classes.
  10. I really like swampbaits 6 and 10 inch worms. Generally Ill start with a t-rigged 10 inch worm and then if thats not getting it done switch over to a 6 inch on a shaky head. The baits float and look natural too.
  11. Man you guys with the rangers are killing me, I have a 2000 3.0 L V6 Ranger and it gets about 17 mpg in town and maybe 20 on the highway, and I drive alot with the cruise and dont floor it or slam on the brakes. I also have the K&N filter, run injector cleaner, keep tires inflated, all of that good stuff. Any other suggestions from the guys with the Rangers? Corey
  12. Some more nice fish...and I was wondering what you were talking about when you said wacky rigged topwater, made me scratch my head a little. Still a little confused about the bait but it catches fish. Corey
  13. This one shows it a little better, especially right up from the tail.
  14. Listening to Fish Chris these fish are the same, same markings, I am not as skilled at pointing them out but I found out I caught the same fish anothe guy caught about a week later weighing 3 oz less.
  15. Yeah, thats what I was trying to say.
  16. Some very nice fish there Dan, and of course the tackle. You sure know how to make a guy sitting in his office staring at rain jealous. :-/
  17. Alot of them are too good, one forgotten one for us fisherman- Brad Paisley's (I'm Gonna Miss Her). Get to see him next Friday for the second time and last time I got a dirty look when I sang along to that song. :
  18. 6'6" MH, too many baits listed are too heavy for a M action rod.
  19. Completely agree KU, hated it then but it made me toughen up and learn some respect and manners. Had his message not included swear words and some "threats" I think there could be some validity. There is a major lack of discipline I see in many kids these days, even in my extended family... and I think that is a major reason for many of the problems in society. I think it is absurd that it is not politically correct to give your kid a spanking and that you may have the law called on you. Sometimes verbal warnings and 10 minutes in the corner just dont cut it, I know because I remember being a kid and pushing every limit I could. Corey
  20. Everyone has said something in their life that they regret(regardless of how perfect you are) and I am sure this is one of those situations. My parents said somethings growing up and did things that would not be socially acceptable today. Not that I am condoning his actions but(Im not a parent) having kids and being in that public eye can be frustrating with people dissecting everything you do. I know I have been frustrated with my little brother, and even my infant nephew. I have said things to my brother I wish I wouldnt of said even though they were no where near Baldwins statements. While completely innapropriate I wont be judging him until I spend a day in his shoes(in an ugly divorce and custody battle).
  21. Man that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw that post...weird :-? Corey
  22. Nice fish, it appears things are heating up in the midwest. Any clue how long she is? Corey
  23. Sodaksker, I completely agree that the next 2 weeks are going to be awesome here as long as the weather doesnt drop 30 degrees or anything too drastic. I dont think the fish were near spawning yet as most seemed to be in intermediate waters in about 4-6 feet of water at all of the ponds I went to. The swampbug was awesome, definetely instilled some confidence in spinning tackle, that bait, and Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft which landed the big girl. Corey
  24. Wow those are both great fish, that first one is a serious Hawg. Gonna have to look into that swimbait too.
