Lucky craft BDS1 was my hard-to-find fish catching gem. But now they are back at TW and I read that Tactical bassin' is recommending them ?. I still throw the LC Moonsault cranks...they have caught fish for me in all the sizes/depths. I have a pile of new OSP baits from Japan to try this year...

I think we were late to the party. There were only 3 colors of money badgers and crash craws when I ordered, and only 1 color of the bullet pop.

I'd get ahold of the tackle trap. They are going out of business, but have some contacts.

Nichols is what KVD used before he was s Strike King staffer. They are superb.

I think my 864 deep flex has a lure rating that is a little high as well. The 864 is rated 3/8-1oz, but should be 1/4-3/4oz, with 1/2oz being the heaviest I'll throw on it. Great rods though...

Sweet lookin' rod. I thought it was an Edge rod at first due to the woven carbon handle.

That made me chuckke. Grandebass has no phone number listed, and they haven't responded to my emails, or anyone else's on this site. I orderded on Nov. 30th, and all they've done is print a shipping label ?. I'm not sure how the company has made it this long.

Some use acrylic paint thinned with water, but using a quality laquer will make your baits look better, and you will look like a better painter.

I think part of the excitement of fishing is not knowing what is at the other end of your line until it surfaces.

Why isn't he entering the elite series and using this method of 'sight fishing'?

They most definitely should have informed everyone purchasing during that sale about the wait. I also think they make great baits, but not informing or responding is a big turn off ?

We had 'Okiebug' bait and tackle here in tulsa. It was owned by Don Butler, winner of the 2nd Bassmaster classic, and he was the first member of BASS. They had a massive aqarium in there with big bass you could watch. Miss that place...

Has everyone received their Grandebass orders? Mine hasn't shown up. They are a small company, but it's been almost a month. Sent them a message this morning....we'll see what they say.

It varies from model to model as to whether the rods rating seems a little high or low. You really need to find someone with that particular rod and hear their thoughts.

Just got back from Academy sports, and they had 20% off all fishing rods/reels/gear. Not sure if it is in store only or not.

They sent me the wrong rod, and haven't responded to my two emails. I'm going to call them in a minute ?

I've only used my black ops rod once...with a finesse jig. It is definitely x-fast, which I like. My 7ft MH Zenon showed up, and it is super sweet. I'm surprised more people didn't jump on $215 Zenons.

I placed two orders last friday....received one order today, but the other hasn't even shipped. It is strange for sure.

Had a Penn saltwater rod show up a bit ago. Problem is, it's suppose to be a Zenon ?. Had 2 zenons on this order, a mh spinning and mh casting. Got the mh casting and the Penn salt rod. I can't believe the order packer didn't catch that they were drastically different rods.

I also picked up a black ops when they were on clearance (7'3"MH). It really is a good looking, well built rod. Seat is comfy. I thought they were going to go cheaper, but now most aren't even on sale.
