Your problems come from an individual store .....I on ocassion go to the retail stores but the bulk of my supplies are ordered online and have never had a problem that customer service didn't fix ..... I do belive Cabelas ship a little faster than BASS PRO ....

For me junkfishing is fine for finding fish , but i never caught many limits doing it all day .. Ounce i find a few fish i try to match a lure to the depth , structure and cover there is then i sit in there and fish for them ..

according to the King James verson of the bible , the only wrong way to kill an animal is drowning ... And there is something in there about not eating animals with cloven hoofs .... So don't be a eatin at McDONALDS .. LOL

I have a general knowledge of thermoclime i guess ..meaning i've seen it on my electronics in some of the deeper lakes i fish . but i really don't know how or when to adjust to it ...I hear about lakes turning over , but really don't understand it ..most of my lakes are shallow 6 to 10 ft ... Does every lake have thermocline , even shallow ones ?

For me it's easy ...i want the bigun .... But when i got my boy with me i like to catch numbers ...size dosen't matter for the kids when they first start .....They need to catch fish fairly often to stay interested ....

I don't have too much trouble with bass fisherman .....Crappie fisherman hit them regurlarly , and it does get old when u run several miles to fish a pile and a boat is settin on top of it ... We just have to remember when a pile hits the water it becomes public property .....

i go around graveyards and collect discarded funeral flowers ...stick a bunch of them in a bale of hay and sink it ..if the hay is packed really tight u may have to loosen it up some so it will suck up water and sink ....may need to be weighted down till it soaks up the water

You didn't mention what type or brand name jigs you are using but some jigs have a longer and stiffer weed guard than others ...for a jig like that i trim out some of the fibers so the weed guard won't be as stifff .....some are so stiff that it will cause problems with the hookset ..... But be careful doing this cause if too much is trimed you will hang up and loose a lot of jigs ..

ok then i'll say when the bass skunk me ( at least 4 to 5 times per year ) ...I fish for bluegill while i lick my wounds .... LOL

I can't wait for winter to get here ........I live in central Mississippi where winter dosen't keep us off the water .....if i can't get the bass bite going , i'll jig up a few crappie ......this is the good side of living in this hellish humidity of the deep south .....

Yep ....me too ........... When i fish my home lake i always take some panfish grubs or flies ..... now and then a few crickets ....i've been skunked so many times in the past on this lake in the mid to late summer .....Catching a good batch of bluegill really helps the ride home ...

John Fox put out a video called HOW WHEN AND WHERE TO CATCH BASS .....It was late 70's to early 80's era ....It covers a lot of basics for every season ..... This old fellow has been around a long time and is really a pioneer of the sport ...

Every year in the upper Pearl River Basin , the mounth of May and June when the bluegill are bedding , these fish basicly become land locked by low water conditions ...The fish are small 1 # being the average ....i take my youngest son ( 10 yr old ) at least once a week ....and usually catch 40 to 50 each trip ...we sometimes get lucky and catch a few 3 and 4 pounders ......but not many ... all we take is Culprit Junebug worms ...there is no reason to take anything else ..... this kid can't sleep the night before the trip ..... His mother can't understand why he wants to go to daddys so much ... I think i've created a monster !!!! Yall have a nice day !!

I think in stained or muddy water it makes more of a difference to have the sound attraction .. Maybe we could get Gerald Swindle to give an answer to this question SINCE HE LIKES TO TALK ABOUT IT SO MUCH !!! LMAO YALL HAVE A NICE DAY !

I fish about a 1,000 acre lake on the NOXUBEE NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE that has very shallow water ,,,in the spring only about 6 to 7 hundred acres is fishable and as summer lingers on probably goes down to 500 acres fishable ....with an average dept of 5 or 6 ft ...water temperature is often 95 degrees at mid day .....these fish tend to shut down about the middle of June , except for a good hour after daylight ofers the only action .....Night fishing isn't allowed .... Anyone got any ideas for this situation .... I know the fish are there pre spawn and post spawn is very good on this lake every year ..

I can understand why a lot of people feel the way they do about Swindle ...he's darn cocky with a bad smart mouth ....But bad attitude and all , he's a pretty good fisherman and if he could fix his personality flaws he would do much better with his fishing ...And i think he came in 3rd or 4th in the American yesterday ,,,, I sometimes wonder if he understands that if he would control his mouth he would have a lot more fans pulling for him ....Being from the south , i like to see southern boys do good on the BASS trail ..... This "GOOD OLE BOY " needs to wake up and smell the fans before they are all gone .... Yall have a nice day !

i blieve in the crawfish hatch ........in lakes that have a good population of crawfish and bluegill ...the bluegill will feed heavily on the hatch and the bass will key in on this ... ask the oldtimers that didn't have all these electronics they used other ways to locate fish and they work ...

Lots of different opinions out there ain't it ...... I think it depends on the individual lake ......i keep small fish ,under 3 pounds when i want some to eat ,, if it;s over that it goes back ,,,,,i have eaten 5# plus bass and they aren't very good for the table .. Mississippi Game and Fish keeps pretty good track of what our lakes and rivers are doing ..Meaning i trust the regulations they impose on the fisheries here .... I don't think very many big fish are being kept to eat , however there are a good number being mounted every year ...If we all follow the regulations everything should be fine for years to come .. Always for me .....Every time i hit the water i throw my spinnerbait ,,,anytime of the year .....that's just the way i fish ....extremely clear water and really deep water is the only things that change me ..
