  1. Have dealt with Garmin several times on questions about my unit. Have been 100% satisfied.
  2. Great video. This is how I have been catching them lately.
  3. Lews Custom 6'6" med/f with Pflueger Supreme XT with Power Pro 10# test with 7# leader Sunline Sniper.
  4. I think your rod is perfect. I use a Lews 6'6" med/f. I tried med/light but just didn't work for me. You just have to see what hookset you need to use. Mostly it is just lifting the rod and reeling fast. I use 10# test braid with 7# leader, you 6#test should be fine. I probably used the Ned rig at least 60% of the time. Just stick to the 1/15 oz heads and don't over work the bait.
  5. Great worm, use to use them all the time but kinda got away from them. I know I got some in the boat, might have to break them out next trip. Thanks for the reminder !!!
  6. Who you going to call, GHOST BUSTERS !!!! Sounds creepy.
  7. My preference is Garmin, but it is hard to go wrong with any of them.
  8. You can use all mono or all fc, all will work. I use 10# braid with a 5 foot leader of fc, with fc again below the hook to the sinker.
  9. I worked for a utility company installing and maintaining underground lines. We were putting in a new subdivision and I had a nature call, #2. No houses and anything else around, I hit the woods. Drop my pants and whites, made the squat and felt something stinging. Of all the places in the wood to choose from, I choose to squat on a yellow jacket nest in the ground. Of course I started running with my pants down and whites down (hard to run with pants and whites down). Finally made it back to the paved road. The road was of course higher than ground which made me fall down (pants and whites still down) tripped and skinned both knees. Glad nobody was around to see me, ended up with 2 skinned knees and 3 bites on the rear end. Not my best of days.

  11. Great price, hope you get it!!!
  12. Maybe you need to update your fishing/navigation maps.
  13. No problem, use mine sitting down every now and then.
  14. Golf. I also work at a golf course so I get free golf and make enough money for my fishing habit.
  15. Clamp on for boat seats. https://www.amazon.com/Wise-8WD14-Boat-Seat-Clamp/dp/B001RPBIN0
  16. Hate to hear this, mine has never been out since I put it in. Garmin seems to have really great customer service, hope it turns out ok.
  17. Can the guy you bought from just get a general bill of sale form off the internet and fill it out. I don't know about Nebraska, but that is all you need in MS.
  18. I built a deck from the front all the way to the middle storage so when I stepped on the middle seat/storage, I was stepping on my front deck.
  19. I think Jim Mac is talking about a metal middle seat that goes all the way across the boat, not the center seat as in a bass boat. I had a jon with a middle seat, I liked it because I would use it for storage.
  20. What everyone said, get cheap mono.
  21. As long as a person catches are legal,no problem. I love to eat bass. I bring home the legal limit of small bass when I want a meal. In the small 50 acre lake I fish, the head of the wildlife dept. told me to never throw back any small bass up to the limit. If I didn't want it, give it away. Most lakes you need to harvest some of the bass if you want a good bass lake.
  22. I looked at the link and I can't find anywhere that the Navionics card will work now or whenever in a Garmin. I just called Garmin and they said that they didn't know when or if ever this was going to happen. Anyone else got any other info about it.
  23. Got a old boat also, best thing about it, it's paid for. I will just continue to fix and upgrade parts. Advil and Tylonal are 2 of my best friends.
  24. That's a great idea. Making me one tomorrow.
  25. Bet he haven't bought shorts in decades.
