  1. Come on man! If you're going to make a reel and bling it out, just put the rhinestones on it and get it over with.
  2. Is the vacuum an upright or canister?
  3. Lets pretend bass fishing manufactures read BR religiously and take members input to heart. If you could tell them something you would like to see then here's your chance. Come on man! Put a premium hook on your hard bait the first time and don't cheap it. Come on man! Take your six best selling colors in your plastics and offer it in bulk packs to reduce cost per bait and reward your loyal customers. Come on man! If you make a split grip spinning rod put the hook/dropshot weight holder on the rear like the Tatula 73MS Come on man! Make spools of line in 420 yards so I can fill six reel spools with 70 yards each. Come on man! Just put the other bearings in the handle grip and the bail roller. Your turn.
  4. Missile Baits Bomb Shot Robo Worm and FX Sculpin SK Half Shell
  5. Give it a fair shot ON. I spooled two spinning outfits with #12 last year and fished them all season on my two drop shot set ups. I had zero issues. I would not fish it on casting reels but for spinning, it performed very well. Glad to hear your on the mend !
  6. Welcome Curt and you made a great choice. The Fury 703 is light enough to drop shot and has the power for shakey heads, tubes, and is a gem for fishing wacky rigs and neko rigs. Enjoy it.
  7. BOSS does produce a good quality head and decent skirt. With that said, I would look at Sieberts Outdoors offerings. Mike provides a super quality jig, top tier skirt in some fantastic colors patterns and you have the option of getting then HAND TIED and that's a big deal. If you haven't tried them, i'd give him a shot for sure.
  8. Crooked River Gorge near Madras Oregon.
  9. Lava Butte just outside Bend Oregon.
  10. Thanks for the link. I ordered a good sampling today with the rest of my Siebert order.
  11. I pre tie with #8 Invizex and store them in individual 2.5 by 2.5 inch zip lock baggies which are in a larger zip lok baggie. I bought a 100 pack at a craft store for a couple of bucks and gave half to a buddy. What a time saver on the water.
  12. The Tatula 100 at 99 bucks would pair up nicely with your Fury. Mine is on a Champion 734
  13. I fish Spot Removers in 3/16 and 1/4 ounce with a full size trick work and have never had an issue with hook sets. I'll have to try the 6th Sense Devine. I have a similar head I found in California only sold in a family owned shop. Owners are really good as well.
  14. Happy Thanksgiving to all you yahoos. You make this forum/site so much fun. Time for a nap.
  15. Smelly Jelly and Pro Cure gel in crayfish scent on plastics, especially hula grubs and shakey head worms.
  16. Hope is a powerful thing Tom. So is prayer. My oldest son is 45 and survived a brain tumor and my wife ovarian and breast cancers. So I will hope with you and pray for you and your son Tom.
  17. I can see the value of the snell when punching heavy mats as the bait fall vertically and lifts vertically. I don't punch heavy mats so I don't apply the snell knot.
  18. You can get a fully warrantied refurbished Dobyns Extreme DX795 Flip N Punch for $240.00. I've had mine for seven years. Excellent rod.
  19. I went with a friend to see Midway. I'm a WWII history buff so this was a must see. It was really good. You have to see it. Another flick, "1917" will be out in December. That will be a must see.
  20. Buddy, I'm thinking of you, praying for you and inspired by you!! Keep posting !
  21. I'm with A-Jay. Spot Lock is a game changer. Two of my buddies have the Ultrex and after fishing in windy conditions with them I am a believer. Getting blown off a spot while re-tying, landing fish or any other "activity" that pulls you away from the trolling motor is a major pain and this technology mitigates those challenges. I have a handful of baits that include hard swim baits and jerk baits but that's it. My lure and terminal tackle is pretty dialed.
  22. Well I had sinus surgery in late March which was quite the fun time. The ENT specialist advised me to have an allergy panel to address some of my sinus issues and prevent future surgeries. At the end of the process I discovered i'm allergic to aluminum, graphite, cork, nylon polymers, elaztech, plastisol, lead and silicone. Continuous exposure to to these substances causes the bottom line of my bank account to turn red.
  23. The longest rod that I can most effectively apply to the technique i'm fishing.
  24. My casting is much better than my shooting pool.
