I'm not losing any hair (knock on wood) but I keep my hair cut with a pretty short buzz (#3). slomoe is right, if you get your own set of clippers you can cut your own hair pretty easy if you wear a buzzcut. I started cutting my own hair last year and I've probably saved hundreds of dollars already.

I like YZ Ultra Soft but I need to find another line that is similar because Ultra Soft is just getting too hard to find. I know I've used lines before that were very similar but I can't find them anymore either...

go toss a big, heavy spinnerbait as far as you can and then retrieve it back as fast as possible. Do that a couple times and it might help straighten your line out.

I don't know which pond Rush is talking about but check out the one on the corner of Walney and Westfields. I'm pretty sure it is legal to fish it and there is parking right next to it. Also, I know for a fact there is at least one 5lber in there from only a couple times fishing there.

I've heard it's pretty expensive. My buddy went there and ordered a sandwich and one beer and it cost him like $20 and that was at lunch time. Also, as I've said before, I'm not a huge fan of IPAs so I haven't really tried any Dogfish beer. Maybe I'll try it out sometime. I hope it's food can beat the BBQ Chicken Pizza from the Pizzeria Uno's that used to be in that building...

There is still plenty of time for the water to go back down. You guys should be fine as long as we don't have anymore rain showers that last for more than an afternoon. The forecast shows only a few thunderstorms between now and then (a forecast that far in advance is never completely accurate but it might give you an idea of what the weather is going to be like).

The fish were probably just on a different pattern. Maybe you worked to fast or too slow. Maybe they were holding in different areas than usual. It could have been any one of the reasons why any of us guys get skunked on a given day.

Offense taken. Anyone who can choke down an IPA or a wheat beer should not be questioning the taste of other drinkers. x2 on the IPA. I seriously can't understand how there is a market for that bitter crap. Although I have had some wheat beers that are pretty refreshing.

Wha?!?! Bluegill are definitely different than red-ear sunfish, or green sunfish for that matter....or pumpkinseeds, or redbreast sunfish. btw, that is a nice bass, dude. Burke is a tough lake. I wonder why those fish were so close to the boat launch. I can't remember seeing any sort of structure or cover near there that would hold fish. But then again, I haven't fished there in probably two or three years...
