  1. guys, it doesn't work if you have to rearrange and add words to what I said to make it fit the joke...
  2. If i found out that was her third offense I definitely would have pressed charges. She obviously isn't learning anything from getting tickets. I hope she doesn't have to learn her lesson by killing someone.
  3. It's sad but that is the best place for tackle in the area.
  4. When I worked at Dick's a lady came it asking the same questions. She ended up leaving with a Fuego...I seriously hooked a dude up.

    Just wait.
  6. Burke Lake, Lake Fairfax, Lake Accotink all rent boats. If you are willing to fish the river I believe Riverbend and Algonkian parks rent canoes. There really aren't too many rental places around the area but good luck. As far as tackle shops...we don't have any good ones. Seriously, none. The closest decent stores are an hour away, either west out in Winchester or south down in Fredericksburg. If you are driving down, you should stop by the Bass Pro Shop in Anne Arundel, MD. It isn't too far off of I-95.

I think the SEC had like 4 teams in the Super regionals though. Of course the ACC did as well.
  8. wow, I don't think I've ever seen spinnerbait trailers that were 6". Never thought of using them on their own either. You might be on to something there.
  9. wait, you're saying you can go 50mph during rush hour?!?
  10. I've heard of raccoons killing cats in many places but a deer is pretty impressive... I would not mess with raccoons. They are capable of doing a lot of damage.
  11. Olestra? Didn't they find out that stuff caused "anal leakage"? Never mind, I was right. http://www.cspinet.org/new/flaynal.html
  12. yeah, you should be fine. I've used 4" paddletails with 20lb braid and a Medium spinning setup. Smart? Probably not but it worked fine.

Work on getting all the Achievements from single player. I guess there is always fishing, too.... I can't play for a while either. I am housesitting and don't have my XBOX. Wait. I suppose I could bring it over but I need to figure out where I can hook up the ethernet AND a monitor...stay tuned.
  14. 30 days is not nearly enough.
  15. You'll be fine as long as you use a rod that is rated for the lure weight and a heavier line (10-17lb). That is going to require a large size spinning reel but there is not problem with that. And I don't see why you wouldn't be able to cast as far with a spinning combo as a baitcaster. I'm not sure what you mean by twist in the water. If you mean line twist then no, there wouldn't be line twist because the lure doesn't rotate completely, it just kinda shimmies back and forth.
  16. TR went through the general baitcaster info. If you want more specific opinions, you might want to post the specific rod/reel. Just make sure you realize that baitcasters require practice to learn. You don't just push a button and cast the lure, there is more to it than that.
  17. chasing manbearpig. We have been dry for a few days but it looks like we might get hit with some precipitation again tomorrow...
  18. google is your friend. 757-566-4307
  19. mmmm, now I am hungry. I haven't had an "Angry Whopper" yet. I guess they are pretty good?
  20. Deep fried Ravioli?!? Where the heck can I get that?
  21. I know you're only being sarcastic here but the Penguins just won the most coveted Trophy in all of major sports. pffft, maybe in Canada. ;D
  22. the Giron is a good bait but it only has one joint so it's not the same type of action as the SPRO
  23. so how much did you pay?
