  1. ok, 5.1 suggests that you are running the speakers into a sub and a line sending the sound from the PC's audio out jack to the sub's audio in jack? Is that correct? When you hooked up the other speakers did you use the same audio cable that connects the PC jack to the sub jack? If so, it's possible that the problem is with the cable. If you used the same cable on both sets of speakers, try getting a new cable to connect the audio out on your PC to the audio in on the SUB. This has happened to me before and it would be cheaper and easier than buying a new sound card. If you tried it with a different cable and the crackling persists, it is most likely the jack on the audio card or the card itself. In that case, you should probably just grab a new audio card. As others have said, they aren't very expensive or difficult to install.
  2. What kind of speakers are they? How do they connect to the PC?
  3. my xbox live account is dan0saur
  4. I haven't fished since it got pretty cold. Hopefully I'll be able to get out sometime this week with predicted 50-60 degree weather.
  5. You should have tried it on legendary. It's a waste of time to play a game on the easy settings because you finish it too quick and then you don't feel like going back to play it again because you know what happens. Besides, Halo's strong point is multiplayer. Multiplayer is very challenging once you get to the higher ranks.
  6. yeah, my profile is dan0saur
  7. That's a pretty high shipping fee! And tackle stores don't charge anything to get in! All I'm sayin is that I paid $12 to look at some gun and hunting stuff and go to one tackle dealer. if you want to do that, go for it. I wish I had waited for the Richmond show though...
  8. I went with CoD4 as well for the multiplayer (which is awesome) My roommate got Assassin's Creed for Christmas but I haven't seen it yet.
  9. yeah, and some players take steroids, does that make it ok for the others to do it? breaking a rule is breaking a rule. period.
  10. It was from the Associated Press., not the NFL. Check highlighted portions of the post.
  11. I went today. There was a $12 entrance fee. It was mostly hunting and gun stuff. If you are purely looking for fishing tackle, I would forget it. They had one booth that was selling tackle and then one that was selling high end rods. The rest of the booths were guns, hunting, charters, guides, or causes. If you want to see the seminars, then it might be worth going, otherwise, avoid the entrance fee and just buy some stuff online or at a store. Last year's maryland show was much bigger and better. I am planning on going to the one in Richmond, hopefully it will be better as well. BTW, the vendor was hawghead baits. They were at the Maryland show last year. They had some good stuff like a large selection of Mattlures swimbaits, some Poor Boy Silly Rabbits, Roboworm baits, and loads of their own baits. But again, you can get these baits online or at another store without the $12 entrance fee.
  12. That's amazing even without being 2lb line!
  13. ^lol pond hopper. I recognize that the Pats' record is almost certainly not a result of cheating but the NFL fined Belichick for cheating. As a coach, he violated the rules set by the NFL, therefore, he should not be eligible for ANY league award. That being said, this was not a league award, so people can choose who they want (and the way the Pats have played makes Belichick a good choice) but it would be wrong to award a person who was punished earlier in the season for violating league rules.
  14. I've used those little senkos for big bluegills.
  15. ^good point about it not being a league award, that does make a difference.
  16. I think they'd be stupid NOT to get into paddle tails. It seems that there is lots of money to be made in swimbaits these days. I like most of Berkley's stuff so I'm looking forward to seeing these baits.
  17. Tech's secondary made some important mistakes and they just don't have a good QB. Other than that, I have to say, Ore looked better than he has all year and that trick punt return was AWESOME! I think if Tech had a decent quarterback, they could be a much, much better team. As the game showed though, Kansas just straight outplayed a more talented team. Kansas' QB was very impressive as was their big fullback and d-line.
  18. I don't usually get too worked up about the whole wasting paper stuff because the old trees they use to make paper don't take out nearly as much co2 from the atmosphere or put as much oxygen back into the atmosphere as the new, growing trees that loggers usually plant after cutting old ones down.
  19. I would try the slow rolled spinnerbait as suggested and then go to a small jig moved very slowly and then a shakey head twitched very slowly if all else fails.

Thanks for the advice. I might buy one just to try and then wait to buy the number I was originally planning to buy until I see how they work for me.
  21. I don't care if his team went undefeated, I don't think you can give a coach of the year award to someone who was fined for cheating that same year...
  22. great game, it looked like the Pat White and Noel Devine show. It looked as if Oklahoma either hadn't prepared for this game whatsoever or they just couldn't figure out how to defend a spread with an athletic quarterback. I couldn't believe how they were manhandled on the line too. WV's front 3 just dominated those 300lbers! I just wikipedia'd Noel Devine and it said that in high school he had 7,000 rushing yards and almost 100 touchdowns! It also said both of his parents died of AIDS and he has two children with two different mothers.

Anyone try Strike King's wild shiners? They have some good colors and they look pretty nice. I'd like to know if they are worth trying.
