Moors caters to fishermen. The are outlets out the Wazoo. I'm renting a slip for the duration. Every slip has its own outlet. I assure you, it will not be like the fiasco we had at Kenlake Lodge.

I've never heard of trailer bearings that use oil. Unless you have some sort of exotic "Ferrari" type of trailer, you need to pack the bearings with a marine grade grease. Do a search on these forums for trailer bearings and you will find a wealth of information. Good luck!

Jig Man, over the last four months I've purchased two deep cycle and, (can you believe it?) a cranking battery from my local Walmart here in Tulsa. All three came with a full one year warranty. I'm not doubting you, I'm just curious as to why one store would offer a warranty and another wouldn't.

The old fisherman's adage is to buy the most thrust that you can afford. I could afford a 100, but opted for the 80 Minn Kota. I haven't been disappointed in the least.

I keep my boat plug attached to the boat ignition key. It makes it very difficult to launch the boat without realizing that the plug is not installed.

If you want to experience your own personal rift in the space/time continuum, the only thing you have to do is service your bait caster. Place yourself in a hospital clean-room, take the reel apart, clean it, lube it and then begin the re-assembly process. I guarantee you that at least one part will have disappeared into the rift, never to be seen again.

Two weeks ago I made a ninety mile drive, towing the boat, to fish a lake that a couple of "friends" of mine said was great for walleye and Sauger. Both of the guys told me beforehand that they would help pay for the gas. My Suburban is a gas hog and a round trip to that lake burns a half a tank of gas, say fifteen gallons. The fishing was terrible, so we went back the next day. To date, neither of my "friends" have offered me one penny and I'm out about a hundred bucks for the gas, not counting what we used in the boat. Next time out with those two I will ask for twenty bucks a head, before we pull out of town. I don't think it's an unreasonable request. Do you?

Your're right. The bolt pattern is nowhere near close. Plan on drilling all new mounting holes. You are gonna love that Terrova.

It depends on the steepness of the ramp. Usually, I unhook before backing down and on return, bump the boat at the stop and pull it to level ground before re-hooking. I seldom extend more than one foot of strap. If it's a steep ramp I'll stay hooked up all the way to the water, and will hook up again before starting up the ramp.
