Another Question For The Computer Gurus
Brian, yes, my AV software does have an email scrubber, but it is set up to warn me before it takes any action. Grundle, no my email program is called Windows Mail. It's not hotmail. Also, with all due respect, I am not about to allow a person I don't know to access my computer remotely.

Another Question For The Computer Gurus
Hey folks, a week or so ago I began receiving mail without any attachments. It's not isolated to just one sender. Any attachment from anyone is lost. I'm running Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 and Windows Mail, version 6.0.6000.16386. My antivirus software is Avast, version 6.0.1125. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Good idea Bilgerat. I'm only nine! For some odd reason I feel much younger now.

A True Classic...
I've had the same pit for about the same amount of time. The pot is holding up well, but the grills themselves are showing serious signs of fatigue. Like me.

Many thanks guys. The ONLY advantage to turning sixty-five is that I am now eligible for Medicare. BTW, Grey Wolf, you have a big mouth.

Ethan Goes Fishing - Tackle The Storm Success!
I have to opportunity of editing many of Don Barone's articles, so I have been following his Tackle the Storm series with great interest. This article, the last of the series, was both poignant and heartwarming - and a great read!

I enjoyed that. It was well thought out and the kids will enjoy watching it for years to come. Good work!

Ethanol Gas Question
Ken, I have the same motor you do. The "newer" motors like ours are designed to run with 10% Ethanol fuel. Be sure to use a product like Startron or Stabil to displace/prevent moisure build-up.

I've Always Wondered...
I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm semi retired, so prefer to fish mid-week when all of the Lake Lice aren't around. The problem is that all of my friends are still having to work. Makes for a lonely fishing trip.

Mini Road Trip To Lake Falcon, Tx
I want to reiterate what Glenn posted. This is NOT a Bass Resource Road Trip. If you do not have the funds or vacation time to make both the Falcon and the official Road Trip, then by all means make the Road Trip!!

Mini Road Trip To Lake Falcon, Tx
Otey, yes it's safe, provided you stay well inside the US of A border, which is well marked. Helen B, you live on the lake, what is your opinion?

Fishing Hotspots Maps
I use both the FHS and Navionics mapping software. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. FHS is terrible for locating structure, but good for identifying creek and stream beds. It's also good for navigation. The Navionics maps are great for identifying structure, but the mapping leaves a lot to be desired in shallower water. It's often non-existent and very sporadic. Long story short, I use the maps to put me in a general area and then use my electronics to locate the good stuff. Then I mark a way-point on the maps.

Falcon Trip
Bighead, what a timely post! I'm in the process of trying to put together a mini Road Trip to Falcon late this year or early next year. Didn't we meet at the second annual road trip on Lake Fork?

Mini Road Trip To Lake Falcon, Tx
I'm seriously thinking about putting together a mini Road Trip to Lake Falcon in late 2011 or early 2012. Lake Falcon has earned the reputation of producing the largest bass in the U.S.of A.. Double-digits are frequent. It's located on the Mexico border near Zapata, TX. How many of you are SERIOUSLY interested?

Trolling Motor Not Spinning
The batteries feed voltage to the foot pedal, which in turn, feeds voltage to the TM. If the batteries are good and the TM is good, then the problem is between the two. If the voltage coming in to your pedal is good, then It's the pedal circuitry that is your problem. Make sure that ALL of your connections are free of corrosion, including those coming into and out of the pedal.
