Latest Catch Pics Thread
didn't catch many but all bites on a jig. Around 11 o'clock I left the other rods alone and practiced skipping the jig with the BC. getting pretty good as long as my thumb complies. This is a 3# with a 4# head, as you can tell they haven't really started feeding up yet.

Satellite internet questions
I agree with above. Satellite internet is all I have available as well and I do without because its not worth it. Its expensive, they cap the data at around 10 gigs.

The Silhouette Theory
Although I understand your follow up. We are now getting into a whole other can of worms. There have been a few really good threads on color and bass vision over the years. Very interesting but none of them gave me any real insight into what color to use when since there are so many variables, along with things we just can't know
-
The Silhouette Theory
Just to clarify loon is black and bone is white? I don't have a definate answer but I have seen bass key in on a certain color more than size/action. This could be the case here. Maybe we are not giving bass enough credit in how well they can actually see

The Silhouette Theory
Whopper poppers create a ton of surface disturbance. It could be invisible and a bass would still know where its at? Your question is still valid but I think the whopper plopper is a bad lure to base this on
-
The "things wives say" thread.
"What are you guna catch with that stupid thing" - almost any lure that isn't a worm "What are you doing? Looking at bass.com" - when I'm on my phone on BR "Watch out for the fan" - when I'm tying lures in living room "Oh this one is mad" - while she's fighting fish

How long will bass live out of water / fish handling

Stretching out your fluorocarbon line who else does this?
Why would it have kinks? Maybe coils from being spooled for awhile in which case I would cast it out in the yard and walk backwards until I got close to the end. I would then start reeling it back onto the reel tight and spray it with line conditioner every 25 ft. Good to go

To those who tie their own bass jigs
Many places have them but I buy siebert outdoors jigs because I'm a fan of the deep throat hooks. I believe their around a buck a piece. Plenty of color heads as well

Will my car battery charger work for trolling motor battery?
Ok @Way2slow if your slow I don't know what I should be called lol. To make sure I'm comprehending everything, we want a 10-15 amp smart charger with automatic/float maintenance mode that once in this mode delivers no more than 13.2v and is preferably adjustable? If I got all that right do you have any brands to reccomend for us? Thanks again

Fish Finder or Trolling motor first, or neither?
Are you currently rowing the canoe? If so then my vote is trolling motor. You will eventually probably have both but getting the trolling motor first saves you a lot of rowing
