Based on helping him with the bait I would say they are slow floaters. He went through two versions before the one he sells because they were weighted too light. They will not match the suspending performance of an original MB but for $2 they are really good. I worked with him to compensate for weight of the bait with a 2 part epoxy and #6 hooks with ballasting. Allen

The baits everyone is mentioning I classify as two different ones. Do nothing ones like the Gary Larew and action craws. The action craws I put in the same category as creature baits. Allen

Chartreuse or white with a dark back would be my starting point. Rattling baits if the water is unusually murky. Allen

Creature baits are one of my top 3 baits overall for bass fishing. Like a couple people said the full-size Brush Hogs just don't work for me. Tiny, baby, super, and even the new mid-size all work well. Below I will list my top 5 Creature baits in no particular order. 1. RI Smallie Beaver=GP, California 420, (actually let me know if you find a color that doesn't work) 2. Zoom Baby Brush Hog= GP, Scuppernong, Avacado 3. Zoom Super Hog= GP, Scuppernong 4. Fish them March to the end of October generally around here. Summer baits I throw are more natural colors with smaller willows or a black with large colorado for night fishing. Allen
