Starting the year with a high....
Sounds like you are having a good run right now!

Enormous size differences.
As well as export. In "Book of the Black Bass," the author (Dr. Henshall) devotes a chapter about the transportation and stocking of Black Bass both in the US and overseas. The book was published in 1881. Reading it now. https://archive.org/details/bookofblackbass00hens ***I see that Catt (and others) have already referenced this point. Sorry for missing it.***

Your Favorite Spinnerbait
I mainly fish small farm ponds / water retention ponds. For me, I do great using BooYah pond magic spinnerbaits. Small profile but fairly sturdy and good price.

R.I.P. Dolores O`Riordan
A powerful voice that captivated me. Makes me sad to hear of her passing -- this was part of "my music" of the early/mid 1990's. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/flashback-the-cranberries-perform-zombie-on-mtv-unplugged-w515436

Dobyns Rods Moving to Texas
Not exactly sure what the official name of line will be, but Gary has confirmed a new high end line of rods that will be announced in 2018. Hopefully the move does not affect the rollout.

Yep, agreed! Good luck to Gary on the move, and excited to see what his new high end rod lineup is for 2018.

Dobyns Rods Moving to Texas
Setting aside the reasons for the move, it will be interesting to see how this helps spread the brand to other parts of the Country.

Hi-Viz Yellow Line
Do you find the pink line at TW or some other shop. I did a quick search at a few places and I am not finding pink fishing line.

Curado 70 / scorpion or diawa zillion sv tw
Same here: Moved from Shimano to the Daiwa Zillion SV TWS. Very smooth reel, but I agree that the magnetic brake dial does turn easy and I don't realize it until after the cast. Has led to a few unpleasant back lashes. When things are set correctly, awesome reel. I plan on picking up another this Spring.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Weather not the greatest here in the Omaha area, but I was able to get out for a few hours and catch four (4) bass. Here was the biggest at 4.16 pounds and just short of 19". Caught on a weedless 1/0 wacky hook using a weightless 5" flat dawg worm. This is the biggest I caught this year and it sure felt good.
