People fish right in front of me while I’m on my dock all the time, even when I have set lines out for catfish. They don’t even realize how dumb they are, not much you can do about it. I like them casting at my dock much better than the people that anchor up and blast bro country at 120 decibels on any holiday

It was my best bud’s 40th birthday today so we fished the same ole spot I’ve been going that’s not flooded to chocolate milk. The fish keep dissipating but we didn’t get skunked, even got a catfish double

We have a small tributary lake where they have made repairs to the dam twice in recent times, both instances they had to draw the lake down over 25 ft. Pearls were clutched but that was the best thing that ever happened to that lake both times. Upon refill there were tons of new trees and shrubs in the water with plankton compared to a blank canvas of gin clear water prior to the drawdown.

Had a buddy in town from AZ for the football game this weekend. We got in some fishing on Sunday. All the jumping white bass had vanished but we found plenty of shad for bait and caught LM to keep us busy

I read a sad tale today from Fairview, NC. 11 members of the same family were all killed by a mudslide. They all lived close by each other and their homes were completely smashed/buried without warning. One man interviewed said he lost his mother and father, aunt and uncle, great aunt and great uncle, cousin and second cousin . 🙏
