I’m seeing a similar trend @AlabamaSpothunter, all of a sudden they have started hitting again after a lull. As long as it’s not under 25 or so degrees , it should be fun from here on out

My buddy suggested we try upstream toward his house for the evening , it worked out well! Got one somewhere around 20” with a swimbait and a few more dinks. My buddy caught some with a white grub, water temp around 55ish

It better not be because that dog is beyond dirty. It’s something off some free chairs my wife got 😂. I made her move it further away from the fire, the dog didn’t even flinch just voluntarily went on a magic carpet ride. I’m sure that synthetic would go up like fireworks

@MN Fisher, we have all kind of mister twister stuff on the shelves but I’ve never seen that one, I’m gonna check again! A black one would be a great helgrammite imitation in my local swifter waters

@RipzLipz, I actually had a spinnerbait in my jacket pocket to see how it would throw on there but I didn’t end up tying it on. Threw a fluke and jerkbait just to see how she would toss them while waiting on a my catfish bait to get bit. Then I started throwing my ultra light spinning and got a bluegill rock bass and Kentucky bass, lots of side tracking going on. Walking back to the car I was like what is in my jacket, oh yeah willow leaf spinnerbait 😂

Oh man @cheezyridr, I have a soft spot for the hound dog ears. My boy Bo has some too, your photo reminded me of this one from about 10 years ago. His face is all gray now (and he’s thicker haha) here he is now

My wife says our dogs have me trained and unfortunately she’s correct, I do whatever they tell me haha if I’m at home alone they go inside then outside then inside then outside then dog food then outside then back inside then more dog food. And constantly need petting if my wife is home alone they sit there like perfect little angels
