  3. There have been zero juvenile Asian carp found in TN, it’s all large adults swimming thru the locks. Apparently they don’t successfully spawn here
  4. Customers always think there’s a magic wand they can wave to make their squirrels go away too , just takes work. Computer models don’t do jack when it comes to wildlife and fish they all show me their supersonic devices they bought on Amazon that scared the squirrels away….. for a couple days

  11. Cold enough here, can’t get any work done until after 10-11.
  12. Spoon and blade bait for bass, but sometimes trout can be better in that cold of water. Got any trout in there? Also a pinch of nightcrawler for some yellow perch and bluegill
  13. Is your live trap open on both ends? I think it’s nearly impossible to get one to walk into a cage and if it’s the cage you’ve caught all the coons in, he could probably open it and get out as well. Maybe try crawdads people catch otters without bait, usually get them to swim or run thru a funnel like a culvert my boss was trying to catch one at a marina where they were pooping all over the docks. He found fish scales all in the scat so he would just put whole fish in a trap and never got a bite. They were coming onto the dock to loaf and poop, not eat. He eventually set an un baited trap that was open on both ends along his route and the otter ran thru the trap and got caught, ignoring several baited traps for weeks
  14. That was cool! MDJ is a good follow
  15. This catches big ones late winter early spring after water temps have bottomed out. Then the sun warms the shallows and the shad get on the flats . If you can get the trap kicking up dust without fouling it, the LM like to pin it to the mud. White bass hunt the same way and will nearly bury a paddle tail when they hit it
  16. Ray Wylie Hubbard has a song about black diamond strings on a J45, j think it’s called down home country blues my fav song that mentions them church street blues by Tony rice, I could watch him all day.
  17. @Woody B, do you have black diamond strings on your J 45?
  18. @AlabamaSpothunter, nicely done!!
  19. I make sure the tail folds over and breaks off no matter what container I’m using. Got lots of ribbed ned baits for sale if anyone’s interested……
  20. Hahaha heck no I can’t handle that much, you seen cable prices??? (I’m also typically in bed by halftime)
  21. I’m going to watch it down the street where my buddy bartends , kind of a Monday night tradition since I don’t have TV anymore 😂
  22. I’ve got an acoustic Alvarez copy of a Martin D35, it’s got the Brazilian rosewood 3 piece back. My aunt gave it to me, I was pretty shocked . It sounds wonderful especially when my fishing buddies play it (they are professionals haha)
