Seems like the average weights would be middle of the pack, local tourneys always have bigger bags than big time BASS events. I kept hearing about 23 lbs winning a tourney on loudoun, bass classic comes and 17-18 lbs is biggest . If I have an average day like that you better be at the after party, I’ll even buy the mudbugs

It does fine, I use it for 1/8 oz jigs mostly. Drop down to 6 lb for 1/16 oz . It dense so it doesn’t fly as far for casting

We’ve got cool mornings in the 40s and 50s and warm evening sun. But all the old timers will still say we didnt get a spring even tho we’ve had one for multiple weeks already

I use 8 lb basix as mainline on spinning reel and throw soft plastics on jig head. I’ve landed some nice bass and 15 + lb drum with it haha
