  1. Yep, everyone over cooks everything then blames the critter
  2. No one actually knows that
  3. The problem you run into there is people stumbling falling into the water when you hit the power on the remote. Heck I’ve had buddies on the back deck say “hey warn me when you go to turn that thing on”
  4. Awesome moose. I’ve only had the speed goat in jerky form but it was good
  5. Take plenty of sunscreen!
  6. I’m sorry to hear about your dog @ol'crickety
  7. Pedals in the way?
  8. At least I know I’ll never have to be in addiction recovery
  9. Nah that went away in 1993 when I realized I just can’t do it
  10. I’ve seen a lot of folks hooked, hooked a buddy or two, and been hooked by a buddy or two. Maybe a dozen or more instances, none ever involved a fish
  11. Could I interest you in fishing with a large fish head? It catches a big catfish about once a week
  12. Yeah I saw some footage from that big hobie tournament on susq last year, they changed the rule and let them drag their kayaks because the water was so low
  13. Very successful creatures! As long as they have some yard grass and water they will populate heavily
  14. Yeah when it hits 30k plus I don’t take that boat haha. Maybe even 20k , slow ride upstream I saw two inboard jet and several outboard jets today, I think that means the striper are biting
  15. Giant snagging hook and sinker. Go below a dam when the season is open, it’s a sight to behold. Maybe wear a helmet. It looks like the most exhausting form of fishing you could ever dream of , guys have to take turns. And there are Russians trying to illegally buy the fish every time one hits the bank. It’s a riot in many ways
  16. What people are really missing the boat on are non endemic sponsors. Like Swindle with dude wipes and Milliken with hello fresh. There are bigger pieces of the pie outside of boats and tackle
  17. Sounds like a good river for my long tail, don’t need two feet of anything and floats downstream like a canoe. Downright impossible to break the hull and the entire engine plus longtail kit was about $800. the motor is from harbor freight and should have died years ago, I could pull the string right now and fire it no problem. I would never dream of taking a $30k boat where I go
  18. My buddy does it for the fed, rules don’t apply. He said they cleared about 250 out of a city park one morning and 250 more showed up the next morning. People thing they don’t move but they do, and they don’t all have name tags haha
  19. You can probably see which branch is bending when you try to break off hahaha
  20. I’ve never tried it but I asked some ultra rich people if it was good, they all said no. They ate it to be polite haha
  21. My buddies that give me tons of deer, elk, turkey, etc won’t give me two things, both considered “ribeye” : paddlefish and sandhill crane. They keep that for themselves I’ve had sturgeon meat at a 5 star restaurant
