  1. Thursday night me and my wife were sitting inside by the fire with the windows open and could hear them sloshing around like crazy in the water maybe 100 yards away. They were hitting tied up pontoon boats so hard they were moving back and forth. Up the river a ways they flood into a shallow creek and the local news does a story on them every year
  2. It’s a cool spot! Lots of live music also
  3. Ours are somewhat the opposite, once it gets to mid 50s, keepers become much harder to come by now when they have a winter tournament with water temps in the high 40s, people bring in monster bags
  4. The very second you pick up a raccoon distempered or not, it is evident they are not good pets haha ive had to go 12 rounds with them many times, formidable opponent to say the least one of the more memorable times was in a paint booth at a boat factory
  5. I need you to point that out to my boss please , I’ve been telling him for 16 years
  6. Coons love getting the eggs (and chickens) out of a coop haha. we get a lot of calls/jobs just like that, it’s usually distemper . They will act punch drunk until you cinch a catch pole onto them, then it’s a Tasmanian devil
  7. Wow that’s down right tropical haha
  8. You got us beat today, non stop 50 degree rain I think we are supposed to be 63 tomorrow, must be blowing this way from MN
  9. Well I sure hope the brewers crash and burn haha
  10. I haven’t been watching too closely, but I’ve heard ATL started off well. I like that you are always watching, reminds me of my brother but he’s a fan of your bitter rival haha. He went to the home opener in Philly this week
  11. Well somebody has to follow up those massive trout, guess I’ll do it pouring the rain, I stood under the boathouse for a bit and got lucky on a crappie
  12. Kind of what I was thinking, it’s warmer at 22 and not raining
  13. Yeah my rain gear gave up the ghost recently as well. I’ve sprayed it a few times
  14. Well, I see this as both positive and negative. Hand tied will always be a better bug, but hopefully this eliminates some of the sweat shop style production
  15. Kudos to you guys, I’ll be lucky if I’m still bank fishing over 60 years old
  16. Happy birthday Lynn!!!
  17. I’ve known lots of women that have had theirs removed with no problems at all. My wife had a gall bladder attack and was screaming all the way to the ER, she has had to change up all the things she eats after having it removed. I’d say get that thing out of there, it’s no bueno when the time bomb goes off. On the other hand I wouldn’t take medical advice from a skunk trapper
  18. You are aware wheeler has won dozens of 5 biggest fish tournaments, including a $1 million forest wood cup??
  19. You know reliability is important when you fish that big wide open water of the Great Lakes. I bet that’s why I see tons of those engines in salt water marinas too
  20. Mother Earth stays around 55 at my latitude, that’s why bass and other fish put their bellies in the mud when it’s cold
  21. You can test the graph run time without going to the water, it’s not nearly as fun tho
  22. For about .75 seconds, long enough to consider jumping in He also won an elite event in 2021 with the same stuff
  23. I’ve employed this tactic many times. First glass good scotch second/third glass bad scotch. Flavor is a non factor if you pour the first one right
  24. Price goes up over time on everything except VCRs
