  1. Sunscreen works too
  2. Unless you are getting out and wading, I see no need for shoes in a kayak. I see top level tournament kayak anglers pedaling barefoot all the time the profit margin on bare feet is not big though, so spend some cheddar!!!
  3. I hate super glue, never in my life have I emptied a bottle. Typically it ruins not long after the initial opening
  4. It varies, they would certainly rather eat it heAd first. But bluegill know to point their head at the bank to avoid being eaten. So a lot of times they slam into and bite them anyway they can, then re adjust to swallow. Also many bass die with a bluegill stuck in their throat tail first
  5. I’m currently sitting on the shores of Lake Erie! No fishing but I’m feeling very Bavarian
  6. @Basser2021, also when it comes to the holes in the ground. I ALWAYS fill them up with a shovel while checking traps everyday. Always. That serves two purposes, number one you know which hole they use more often. Number two, it makes them work and they get hungry and go for the bait haha
  7. Yes sir
  8. Just stay right where you are, buddy. Cities come with people that can’t mind their own business
  9. You are brave! The people that hired me to catch the one in the picture said they were trying to catch it for years. I caught it in 2 hours haha. Just set a cage and keep fresh apple in there, eventually they will walk in
  10. My buddies always put mine on the trailer while I back the truck in, and they inevitably leave it in gear. Next time I go fishing I panic because it won’t start, then realize it’s in gear
  11. Blades are usually cheap, hard part is getting them off. I worked for a lawn crew in college and my boss’s garage where we kept all the equip was immaculate. The only thing out of place was a 2x4 and long pvc pipe in the corner. On rainy days, we would take all the blades off (3 20” blades per machine) and sharpen them. The blade on the far right of each mower was stuck on every single time. He would go grab the 2x4 and pvc pipe and say “bet you wuz wonderin’ what these wuz for!” If you got 2x4 wedged against the deck and the blade, put a wrench on the nut, and the pvc pipe on the wrench handle, the breaker bar effect would finally loosen the nut
  12. You people and your drags………
  13. City boy living the farm life at the in-laws this weekend.
  14. Hahahaha. Fishing is happy time!!!
  15. I fished that lake in 2006 so I had insider info haha
  16. 47-49, final answer Regis
  17. Oh. My. Word. I’m glad you’re back with your daughters! I have been hearing about very similar situations from different friends here and there, it seems to be some kind of pattern that quite a few people follow. Absolutely crazy. Hopefully the correction makes her realize living with y’all wasn’t so bad!
  18. Yes, you can’t legally livewell a fish between 16 and 24 inches on fork. So they weigh them on the boat
  19. Got me a whistle pig Friday morning
  20. I get chills just reading that
  21. I don’t think that’ll help much, it’s not like veggies are staying the same price . Fertilizer is going up, so will veggies
  22. I smell what you’re stepping in. Just wait til you’ve been hiking for years and people start talking about this gear and that gear. The hiking monkey is as bad as the bait monkey! Especially for women hahahahah. My wife has to have all the special stuff, and of course makes me tote it all
