TROLLING MOTOR "SWOOSHES AROUND"
A lot of the pros I was watching drop shot today were using their foot, maybe just to scan the live scope around though

2020 football
Football and basketball are the only sports that make money and that money is what funds all the other sports like hockey, swimming, etc. Without football season this year, I imagine a lot of smaller sports with have to temporarily be shut down. So the “money grab” is exactly what they need

BASS St. Clair
Clear water is green on TVA lakes. And you live on one of the clearest ones around haha. Chilhowee of Fontana would be good ones for you to try , the little T is the clearest water I know around here

I've got to get in there...
Most of the time when I find lures in the water or bushes the hooks are rusted away. Then again there’s close to 100% humidity all the time so maybe that’s why, I don’t know. I’ve lost dozens of crappie jigs and catfish rigs off my dock in the last two years but I still swim there along with all my friends kids. I worry more about gobs of line than the actual hooks

2020 football
What about the ACC and big 12? Entire communities all over the south build their economy around football, so yes they are doing it for money. You have to have money to buy food

Post a photo a day!
Wow. Already crisp! Sounds glorious but I would have to fly south before thanksgiving. If the line freezes in the guides, I go inside. If the water freezes I go south

Post a photo a day!
I wore long sleeves to work yesterday and I thought I was going to have to cut myself out of my shirt with a pocket knife. I’d rather wear sunscreen but I sweat a lot more than most people

Been a week, not a single bite.
Try some 10 lb mono instead of braid and see if that helps. It’s hard to go wrong dragging a worm on the bottom

Anyone use live shad?
I do. I buy cheap cast nets because I tear them up and lose them in fast water below dams sometimes. Shad tanks, there are several brands usually $400 and up. You can make your own with a big blue plastic barrel, pump, hoses, and filter. The filter material is key if you want to keep them alive for more than a day. Rock salt helps keep the shad alive and coffee creamer keeps all the foam to a minimum. Also make sure your tank is round as shad will bury their nose in 90 degree corners and swim themselves to death. I use a 5 gallon bucket and my live well for simplicity purposes

Classic Country & Western
So was my grandad, Wise, Virginia more specifically. He was killed working on a coal train when my dad was fairly young. There’s probably lyrics to a country and western song in there somewhere .........
