The game didn’t go so well today. It was a David vs Goliath game though. The team we played has an incredible football program who’s varsity is ranked 5th in the state. 6poundbass, he added another 9 tackles and around 30 yards rushing to his stats. He’s pretty beat up and hobbling around now. The head coach for the other team saw us in the parking lot after the game and said “hey numer 1, you did an amazing job today”. Proud dad moment right there!

Ha ha, I’ve done that with my son. He used to get so annoyed with me. Who would’ve thought that such a stupid song that’s no doubt an ear worm would be the most viewed video on YouTube. 11 billion views!

Just over 7 years ago I was on my way home from working a Saturday and stopped to hit the ATM. As I’m sitting there my truck starts rocking back and forth! I look at the trees and they’re still as can be, so I look around my truck to see if one of my friends were messing with me. My wife calls and says the house is shaking! I put two and two together and it was confirmed later in the day on the news. Michigan had an earthquake. Craziest thing ever.

I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt to the professional angler who makes his living from fishing and cashing checks. I don’t buy that any of them knowingly fished two lines illegally. It’s possible, but unlikely in my opinion.

So I think one of two things should’ve happened 1: The weights for that day were zeroed for the at fault anglers 2: MLF goes through the footage (assuming everyone had a camera man) and catch logs and eliminate the weights for the fish that were caught on the second line Honest mistake, ? happens, and not the crime of the century.

I’ve been on a big Mexican kick the past few years. I’ve fine tuned my wet burrito recipe so it’s pretty killer now, soft shell tacos, dry burritos, fajitas.

I rarely do except on the rare occasion someone sits at a green light more than four seconds staring at their phone. If someone ticks me off I just yell at my steering wheel. My wife on the other hand she uses that thing all the time. She’s reached over while I’m driving to honk the horn. Then her, her sister, and my mother in-law always honk several times when they arrive or leave each other’s house. That drives me nuts! My brother in-law and I have vowed to pull the fuses on every vehicle so we don’t have to hear them anymore.

You’re supposed to alternate directions each week. ?

I did a plumbing apprenticeship almost 20 years ago and loved it! This was just as the pex started to take off. I loved sweating copper. There were obviously nasty jobs we did but most weren’t bad at all. I’d probably be a master plumber now but the owner of the company I worked for was a journeyman plumber and he had and ego bigger than Texas so he was always questioning the master plumber and ended up firing him. Back to the HVAC side I went and I eventually quit because he wouldn’t hire a new master and the HVAC was too monotonous for me. Been there done that. We had a main sewer run broke under a trailer once, told the people not to use the plumbing so things could dry out under there but they didn’t. Those people ate a lot of corn! ?

It states in the MLF rules that the anglers are responsible for knowing the laws in each state they compete in. If I go fish in another state I don’t expect the DNR to greet me at the state line and teach me the laws. It’s my responsibility to know the law in each state I fish. I’m guessing MLF didn’t know the law either, but ultimately it’s up to the angler to know them.

Something like this? I’ve been extremely happy with this box. It’s pretty heavy duty. It’s Academy Sports terminal box. Everything stays exactly where it’s supposed to, and has a rubber seal around the lid to keep moisture out.

Who would’ve thunk that hiring people with competence would be beneficial to their company. We hire people with a pulse and it’s showing. In my line of work hiring people with experience is very difficult to do because there aren’t very many utility locators out there and the company that bought us out basically has a monopoly on the business. If we increased our starting pay it might help bring people in that take pride in their work, but the attrition rate would still be pretty high I imagine. Our entire HVAC system is all brand new so I’m thankful for that. I was pleasantly surprised the heating and cooling company had a 2-ton condenser on hand and we didn’t have to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get it installed. One company I got a quote from was quite a bit hirer in price and would’ve had to wait over a month for them.

Yikes! That’s not good for your customers especially in the business you’re in. My wife couldn’t go a day without A/C. ?

Is that the guy who works or worked for NASA? Those videos are great! If I remember right he sprayed them with liquid a$$ too. The guy hacking into the computers of phone scammers and tacking over their computers while they’re on the phone is pretty hilarious too! I wish I was smart enough to do that! ?

I suppose you’re going to say Guinea pigs aren’t delicious too.

Impossible to prove or disprove, but plausible and kinda makes sense. Babies are easily startled by loud noises and newborns will sometimes spontaneously reach their arms and legs out as if they feel they’re falling. They’re in the womb for 9 months which is a confined space then are born and have a wide open space with no boundaries. I’m guessing that’s why swaddling a newborn is pretty common. The one I’m skeptical of is how does anyone know a human can survive 6 days after being skinned alive.

We all know the saying, “when the cats away…” well Hank’s saying, “when mom’s away I’ll lay, on the bed”. How could I say no to that?

Apparently. Makes sense, just like hate, it’s not something we are born with. It’s developed from being taught or our experiences.
