Same here, 200,000 without power and they’re saying Friday evening for restoration. Thankfully all the power around our lake is underground and from talking to people around here power has only gone out a few times in the last 10-15 years. There’s another round of potentially severe weather hitting the lakeshore now. Looks like it might be worse in @A-Jay country.

Apparently storms rolled through last night (I slept right through them). One of my first emergencies this morning was this broken pole. The owner of the Tahoe got lucky, maybe a small dent and a scratch or two is all it received.

Looking forward to seeing the mods and progress.

We’ve done shrimp and steaks and enjoyed them. I prefer grilled burgers, plus burgers on the Blackstone is absolutely messy!

We just watched one of these fellas this morning catch a HUGE bullfrog. The frog got free a couple times but was quickly snatched up again. I sat here on the back deck with binoculars watching it swallow that gigantic frog. Now he’s hanging out on the shore probably too heavy for flight. ?

He knew the schedules and knew there was a conflict. It was still uncertain if they were going to fish NY due to COVID. He approached BASS about the conflict and they said they’d address it if they were going to be able to fish in NY.

Another reason for the price difference is the transducer, they are two different transducers. If you do some digging around you might be able to find an Echomap UHD with the GT-54 transducer for around $650.

Dang, I missed this too. I’ve been working EGR and reeds lake looks appealing, I’d try Versluis Park would be nice too. If I remember right I read on the DNR master angler page there have been a couple DD bass caught out of there.

I have two Garmin 93SV UHD and I’ve been utilizing QuickDraw on the lake I live on and another small lake we fish quite a bit that has no mapping. All you need with these units is a simple micro SD card. I’ve enjoyed mapping my lake and I’ve found a couple nice spots.

To be honest I thought it was into bass fishing. To answer the OP question it was my grandpa. He took me out full fishing when I was 3 or 4. I still remember to this day and him cleaning the days catch on his 50 gal drum.

I’m not sure. My grandpa took me fishing when I was real little but he was a pan fisherman. My stepdad is a walleye guy, so I’m not sure how I became a bass guy. My friends in my middle to later teens fished for bass so maybe then? I remember my first bass I ever caught, but that didn’t hook me at the young age of 5 or 6.

This is the direction I’m trying to steer 6poundbass towards, preferably a lineman. Approximately $12k in schooling and by the age of 20-21 he’d be making $100k plus a year with excellent benefits. I wish I would’ve gone this route.

You guys have this all wrong! I’m a dummy and even I’ve figured this whole thing out. Suck at fishing, don’t catch squat, and have a recognizable boat! Word has spread that the dude in the red boat with a big G3 on the side doesn’t catch crap! Nobody bothers me. Little do they know I’m just there to take sunset photos to post on a bass fishing forum. ?
