We got 4-5” of heavy wet snow last night, I just got done doing my good deed for the day snow blowing, now I have to shovel my driveway.

The lake opened up, the temps dropped 20 degrees, the wind is blowing, it’s about to snow 1.5”/hr, what else could go wrong? Nothing because the new season of Zona started today!!!! @Ztrain hopefully this year you listened to me and recorded at least 25 episodes! Lol Looking forward to the new season.

Just got home, looked out the back window, and...... ICE OUT! I’m going fishing. Actually the wind is blowing 25-30 and we had a 20* temperature swing in the wrong direction so I’ll just look out the window from the warmth of my house. P.S. it’ll be froze again by this time tomorrow.

We’re going from 50* and rain as we speak to 4-7” on snow by Tuesday morning. On the brighter side of things the “flu” I thought I had doesn’t appear to be the flu because it’s on it’s way out. As soon as I started to feel a little off Thursday night my wife made me take a couple shots of elderberry she picked up. She just read about it and had me try it. She’s just now after a week (She didn’t take it soon enough to help her) starting to get back to herself, it’s only been 2 days for me, so I’ll choke that stuff down. It’s expensive but worth it.

And in typical Lions fashion they blow a 4th quarter lead. BTW they have the most blown 4th quarter leads since 2018.

With all these warm sunny days, and this rain I can not believe there is still ice all over. There must’ve been a lot more ice than I thought.

I’ve sweated through my cloths the past 24 hours too....because of the flu. The wife got it a week ago and still isn’t 100%. My son got it 2 weeks ago.

For the Great Lakes, coastal waters, and the big southern impoundments I think it would absolutely be beneficial. The small inland lakes on Michigan not so much. I doubt it’s even available on small lakes.

I was wondering if you were stationed in the area during that time. I couldn’t imagine being in angry water like that. The men and women of the USCG are some brave souls that’s for sure!

There’s no doubt in my mind we’ll pay for this weather in the coming weeks or months. It kind of reminds me of one of the final scenes in the movie The Perfect Storm (the movie about the Gloucester boat Andrea Gale). They battle the storm then the seas calm, the sun peaks out, the deckhand thinks they’ve made it but the captain knows they’re not so lucky.

The sun is shining, it’s 48*, there’s no snow on the ground, what could I possibly complain about? There’s still ice on the lakes! It’s pure torture! If we canN’t fish I think I’d prefer the norm, cold, snow, and no sun.
