  1. Hmmmm, I’m using the mobile version and it’s the same as it’s always been.

  4. What happens when you say the word Big Game? Big Game Big Game Big Game
  5. Brand new! This guy keeps pumping out the hits that’ll never be mainstream hits. I like it!
  6. I understand your concern so maybe I can help ease your concern a bit. About 6-7 years ago before I was a moderator I was approached by Glenn and was asked if I wanted to review some products (Berkley and Abu Garcia). They were doing an add campaign and wanted some reviews. The very first thing Glenn said to me, “be honest about your review.” He went on to say not to feel obligated to give a good review just because they were a sponsor. I received lures, a reel, and line. I loved the lures and reel. I did say the line was stiff and didn’t care for it at the time but was going to give it more time to see if it would soften up after some use. Another member (a well respected member) received the same package I did with the same instructions. This members review about the line wasn’t good (too stiff) and they said as soon as they got home it was coming off! Glenn wanted an honest review and he got it, which he was perfectly fine with. I became a moderator and I’ve received more stuff with the exact same instructions, “be honest with your review.” Sometimes these companies give their product to us early in the process ask us to be the Guinea pigs and aren’t looking for reviews at the time so not all the kinks have been worked out and they listen to us and make the changes or they’re made aware of issues shortly after we received them and are already working to fix them. I haven’t experienced this yet in my short time as a moderator. Most times the kinks have been worked out by the time we receive the product so naturally there aren’t any issues with the exception of the rare one off occasionally happens. You mentioned the Seviin reels so you probably have seen their response to some of the questions members have had. They reached out to Glenn so you know they are watching these threads and looking at positive and negative feedback from us and the members which I think is a great thing. If we were to give biased reviews of a bad product and anglers try the product word would spread quickly the product isn’t that good, it would blow up in our faces and all trust would be lost. So it doesn’t make much sense to be biased just because it’s a paying customer. Hopefully this clears things up for you.
  7. Well, you could always bid on the Randy B jerkbait tutorial. ?
  8. Even at work I backlash! ?
  9. I turned 40 almost two months ago so I’m over the hill and horrible dad jokes are now acceptable for me.
  10. Quit playing tennis
  11. Heard one for the first time ever this year. I don’t hear it much on my small lakes but waves hitting the shore. My favorite would be….
  12. I try not to let the wind out of the east get in my head but it does. I still go out but historically I don’t have much luck. Same with cold fronts which here the two seem to go hand and hand.
  13. “What are you looking at?”
  14. Me too! I call it the Dead Sea. Everything in it must’ve died because I didn’t catch anything in it. There’s plenty of them around my area.
  15. Has anyone ever seen them? I heard they would be visible in my area tonight. My son and I stood out on the front porch looking for them. We about gave up due to it being partly cloudy tonight when he saw them. I’d guess there were 50 or so in a line scooting across the sky! They weren’t very bright due to the clouds but we saw them. They’re supposed to go be visible tomorrow night as well.
  16. Congrats! Fishing will happen again, give it time. For now, enjoy your new family.
  17. I fell for that at age 8 or 9 in the woods of Kalkaska when I was camping with a friend.
  18. Lake Menderchuck is within a few light years of Sneaky Lake. Here’s your answer.
  19. It’s just a thing we’ve had fun with over the years.
  20. I drive a lot for work and living in Michigan I’m always passing boats during the open water season. I see a ton of nice decked out bass boats. The wife and I were heading to 6poundbass’s football game tonight and passed a familiar looking rig heading north on US-131….(I didn’t take this picture)
  21. Great news! A great mindset and a willingness to fight always helps (as you both know).
  22. Old Faithful in Michigan? Nope, just a 100’ tall geyser caused by one of our contractors. Quite the site! As you can see, we all had to go check it out. ?
  23. The list goes on and on my friend.
  24. Fun little fact, almost every aspect of our lives are controlled by this tiny little strand of fiber. This is what gives us the internet, cell phones, credit card machines, etc. I used my pen tip for size reference.
