  1. Baby steps are steps in the right direction. Glad to hear progress is being made.
  2. What part of the Lansing area are you in? I’m pretty familiar with Lansing, I was a contractor for the BWL for 5 years.
  3. I’m just north of Greenville which is about 1 hr NW of Lansing.
  4. Welcome to Bassresource from the middle of Michigan
  5. Similar Sunday. 15-18’ thermocline and a ball of something around 12’.

I predict tomorrow a female Bigfoot will club you over the head and kidnap you for a mate!
  7. I haven’t used one in I’d guess a decade. That was my crutch forever and caused me to give up on other presentations prematurely. My wife however is the Senko queen!
  8. Leave the Kayak at home travel and hire guides or ask around on here to see if members have an open seat on their boats. I’ve seen plenty on here offer up an open spot on their boat.
  9. Oldest trick in the book putting a different lure in the fishes mouth for a picture! ?
  10. Welcome to Bassresource
  11. I had an uncle who was a mason and his son still is. Watching them do their craft and put all the pieces together and see the final product is truly amazing! I see a pile of rubble, you masons can almost visualize in your head where each piece is going to go. Hats off to you masons, you are all artists.
  12. Well done sir!
  13. Well I blanked Sunday, but so far I like it! The handle is really comfortable in my hand. As expected only my ring and pinky finger are on the handle on the casting rod. Spinning rods will be a different story. I matched it with a Tatula 150 and the two pair together pretty well. I need to catch some fish on it before I can give more input. I’ll be back at it again this coming weekend.
  14. Duckett Pro Driven baitcaster combos but one get one free on the Duckett site. Never used them before so I have no clue if they’re any good.
  15. Braid I change as needed which is hardly ever. I did just take some 3-4 year old braid off a few reels and that was only because I wanted to try Smackdown braid which I’m liking so far. Fluorocarbon I change out every couple years.
  16. I cleaned it up. Back to our regularly scheduled show.
  17. 93SV UHD GT54
  18. Blue bird skies and constant wind out of the north made for some tough sledding this morning. I had 6-7 hit the frog but none hooked up. Lost a dink at the boat on a T-rig pit boss. To add insult to injury I anchored on a sunken island in 2’ of water and was casting a 10” Rage Thumper to 20’ and dragging it up. No takers. As I moved to the other side of the island I saw what I’m guessing was a 4lber swimming around next to me. Here’s all I caught today and I’m not sure they’re bass. ?
  19. Holy cow! It’s pretty incredible how powerful Mother Nature can be.
  20. Give me time. I’ll put it through the motions Sunday.
  21. I’ll admit the pictures didn’t make the handle look very appealing but in person I really like it. As for the Trigon shape itself, it does feel very comfortable in my hand and has the same quality you’d expect from St. Croix. It just showed up yesterday so I won’t be able to put it through the motions until Sunday. I ended up getting the 7’ 4” HF.
  22. Congratulations to you both Tom!
