  1. what size tarp do you run? also how do you keep it tight? I get the part with the golf ball to make it last longer, but didn't get the other part
  2. In the process of upgrading electronics in my boat. Im going to be running all Garmin, ECHOMAP Ultra 126SV up front, an Echomap Plus 93SV at the console, and not sure which other unit at the dash as well. I am mounting the two units side by side, so 9" size is ideal. I originally wanted to run two 93sv's, but can get a used gps map 9" for $700 would use that for mapping and the other ECHOMAP plus for side imaging. Any thoughts?
  3. need a better way to protect my boat from rain and dirt than my current boat cover. The one I have on my 19' triton doesn't shed water and leaks after a while, allowing dirt to get in along with other debris. Im looking at getting a heavy duty tarp to drop over the boat and secure it with bungies/winch straps. would like to try this before spending hundreds on a cover. Any advice?
  4. uh oh I only get about 42-45 so far in the few weeks ive had the boat
  5. about to purchase it right now for the same reasons
  6. been doing alright there lately. Let me know next time you go. - fished a pond back home, shallow and muddy with mossy mats. caught two on the seiko, none on the frog - taking the boat to the shop tomorrow. Might fish Round Valley on the ay back...
  7. who caught a snakehead in marsh?
  8. you fishing in the tourney tomorrow?
  9. anyone know if the Tuesday nighters are up n running at Marsh Creek?
  10. how did you install it? id be nervous drilling through my motor
  11. what prop would you recommend? Boat needs a bit of work to be very very good, is still fishable, besides the crack. If we get a garage for it, I will hold onto it for a while.
  12. strike king banshee 1/4 at dicks
  13. same boat. I have insurance and will talk to them. Boat came with a backplate. Powerpoles are attached to it as well has a 22p I believe would you mind elaborating on those two things? never heard of either.
  14. exactly what I did, only I opened the plug while the boat was on the trailer but in the water. Turns out its a tiny stress crack, getting I repaired soon.
  15. turns out is is a tiny hole in the weld, getting it repaired before I fire up the engine again.
  16. also, id be looking at a used motor, not brand new. Budget between 4 and 8 thousand, will sell the other engine which will help offset costs.
  17. My boat has a big leak somewhere. I checked the hull, no dents or cracks ins in any of the welds. I thought the leak was from the livewell being repaired wrong, but that didn't work. I put the boat in and when I take it out there's gallons of water coming out each time. I don't think there is a bilge pump in the boat.
  18. I have a 2007 Triton VT 19 that is rated for a 135 hp. It has a jackeplate on it and a 2007 90 hp optimax on it right now. Top speed by myself is decent at about 42 mph. With a full livewell or anyone else in the boat, it takes forever to get on plane. I am thinking of putting a newer 150 hp on the boat. My logic is that because it is an older boat, newer 150 hp will be similar weight to the weight of 135 hp engines back in 2007. I have no intentions of driving recklessly or out of control.
  19. brandywine creek has them but they are very small
  20. thanks thats exactly what I needed to hear. Im still cringing at the noise in my head hours after it happened
  21. I usually slow to about 2 mph before shifting, then gently change gears. Should I be more forceful, like when I change gears in a car?
  22. First time owning a bass boat. When I shift from neutral to forward, no problem, but occasionally shifting back to neutral from forward, I do something wrong and it makes a clunky metallic noise. I am not sure what im doing wrong. I am slow to return to neutral, I don't yank anything.
  23. Went to Beltzville this morning from 6:30 to 10, we managed 4 bass, all on finesse stuff, 1 small three largemouth I was gonna say the same thing. I was is the same situation two weeks ago, tried to tow the boat while swimming, didn't work too well.
  24. for the 3.8" KSIFs, two light line bobber stops, 1/8 oz tungsten flipping weight, 3/0 light wire twist lock hook by owner.
