  1. American legacy fishing. Located in Evansville Indiana. They are great guys to deal with.
  2. I know timmy Horton has really beem promoting them hard on Instagram. Looks like they have good stuff though. Their website is prettt outdated though.
  3. I'm a fan of my fury 735 for 1/2 and 3/4 ounce jigs. 7'3 heavy tp-1speed stick for jigs and texas rigs over 3/4 ounce.
  4. The tp-1 is a beast of a rod. I have used it as a jig rod, but unless you are pitching 9/16-1 ounce jigs its a little over powered. Its is better as a punch/frog/heavy pitching rod. The jig rod I use for 1/4-1/2 ounce jigs is the tp-1 7' medium heavy.
  5. tacklewarehouse must be wrong then. That's where I got my info from. To say that 15 and 17 were the same. They list 15 as .016 and 17 as .016 for the p-line cxx crystal clear, which is what I use amd have experience with.
  6. Compare 15lb cxx to 20-25lb invizx or sunline sniper. Roughly similar diameters. Btw 15-17lb cxx is the same diameter so the difference in 15 and 20 is minute
  7. Sunline assassin is good fluoro to skip with. Handles very well and has great knot strength with a San Diego jam knot
  8. I'm a big fan of the magnum rage bug from strike king. Black/red flake, watermelon red, and bama craw (I think) are my favorite colors. I pitch them to standing timber and other targets as full baits, then use them as a trailer for a jig or chatterbaits once the head gets torn up a bit. I like a 4/0 jungle 4x flipping hook or a 5/0 Gamakatsu g-lock ewg hook with a 3/8-3/4 oince weight and either 22lb fluoro or 50lb braid.
  9. I have 3 of them. 1 6 speed for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, 1 7 speed for texas rigs and 1 8 speed for punching/heavy flipping.
  10. Sent a screenshot of the jitterbig tee to my mother hoping she would get it for me for Christmas. She text back and said thanks, I know brent (her boyfriend, my fishing partner) will love it for Christmas. That backfired on me.
  11. You could get 2 fuego ct's off ebay for 120 dollars which is about what youre gonna spend on the reels you mentioned. There should be a discount code coming out with black Friday around the corner
  12. Not so much haunting, but "the one that got away" was this year when I was pitching a 12" worm to a lay down. I set the hook hard and she wrapped me up for about 15 seconds. She felt nice but not giant. Wrestled her out of the brush and then fought her to the bank where I still thought she was about 4lbs....until I tried to bank flip her and about halfway up I realized she was every bit of 8lbs. With one shake of the head while she was midway up the incline of the bank. Still in the air. She broke my 20lb fluoro which had been weakened by the brush pile and pushed to its limits trying to dead lift and 8lb+ fish. She splashed back into the water and just kind of hunf out for a split second before darting off into the dark green stained water. That fish doesnt haunt me because I know I couldve easily landed that fish had I done thebright thing and tried to lip her in the water instead of flipping her onto the grass. Oh well. Ill catch a bigger one this year!
  13. Nice one. Especially for Indiana. I'm in southwest Indiana
  14. I select weight based on rate of fall rather than depth. I throw anywhere from weightless to 3/4 ounce at the depths you listed. A good starting point is 1/4 or 3/16
  15. 1-800-227-7776 Call and ask them why you were given the wrong info and if/when they are going back on sale. Its much easier to get the most info and the correct info talking to someone rather than texting or messaging.
  16. Besides siebert, I use terminator and fat sack tackle pitching jigs.
  17. What will be the ballpark lure weight you'll be throwing?
  18. Another pic of the deer I previously posted. Keep in mind the guy holding the rack is 6'6 230lbs
  19. Fistful of Dollars. Because its what I spend on tackle every payday, but also what I walk away with after a tourney win haha
  20. Those are quality fish. Especially for our sorry fisheries we have in Indiana. That's why if I am going to fish public water I travel to illinois or Kentucky.
  21. we did catch our biggest bag this year. 27lbs on 6 fish. All caught within 45 minutes in southern indiana
