Do you use inline spinners for bass?
Size 3, ,4 and 5 Mepps Alia dressed are all killer bass spinners.

Mike Iaconelli left Rapala
I guess all those VMC/Rapala products he’s been touting as the best in the business for years won’t be anymore.(at least in his opinion) that’s why it’s all BS. It’s “the BEST!” Until it isn’t anymore, and he starts using his new sponsor’s gear.

I have a couple I love too. You know what it is about them that keeps them so smooth?

Loomis GLX 804C for skipping
A GLX 844 mbr is a beautiful 1/2oz jig skipping rod. I prefer the 7’ length.

Finesse Jig Setup?
If you’re talking a finesse jig with a weed guard like a bitsy flip the Phenix Feather ML is WAY too light of power to set the hook. Dobyns champion 702 would be the lightest I’d go. A Loomis JWR 2 power is perfect.

Daiwa Alphas SV TW 800
The Alphas 800 is a slept on reel. I’ve had two since they were first released. One of mine has 20lb braid and is used for small crankbaits, finesse spinnerbaits, and poppers. The second Alphas has 30lb braid and is and everything reel, used for jigs, t rigs, swimbaits, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and top water, and it excels with them. Both are as smooth and solid feeling as day. Both reels have been fished hard, and are as solid as my Zillions. I agree with this. It throws a Rapala Tiny, and a Rebel Wee R great.

Your BFS Set Up ?
Not one time. It’s completely trouble free for me. Only thing is with the Alphas Air TW I have to cast lightly. but the baits fly easily.
-
Your BFS Set Up ?
I had the same issue. I started using my GLX 842 for when there’s more cover around, and it was my answer. Try using 8lb braid. 8lb PP is crazy thin. It works really well with that rod.

Looking for a slightly more powerful and versatile rod than the NRX+893c
Get a Loomis 844 mbr. It’s just the power and taper you’re looking for. i my self prefer the GLX because of the guides, but if you like the NRX guides get an 844 NRX.

Best ML Spinning Rod
That ml Tatula 7’1” rod is incredibly sensitive, light, and balanced. Great all around finesse rod

Daiwa Tatula 100 and 150 noise
The 150 reels are smooth and silent. The older Tat 100 is a somewhat noisy reel. Maybe the new 100 is improved.

A good tackle shop in Tokyo?
Does anyone have a line on a good tackle shop in Tokyo?

Is the Daiwa tatula CT better than the shimano cuardo K?
Get a Tatula sv tw. Look around for a deal, they can be had for around $150ish. It's a better reel than a 200K IMO. All of my 200 K's got rough and are harder to dial in than either the 2017 or 2020 version Tatula, .

An interesting debut: JB3 Outlaw review
Sheesh, that's a bad rod in my opinion. I have 15 year old Loomis rods that fish as they did when they were new.

An interesting debut: JB3 Outlaw review
Don't understand this. How is this a durability issue?

Let's Talk Crank Bait Rods...
I'd get a Dobyns champion 704cb rod.
