    1/4oz Pop-R!
  2. As far as visibility to fish, I have no idea. I do feel how baits fall and move is different with mono and FC leaders. This aspect could possibly make difference in getting bites depending on what the fish are wanting.
  3. Yes, and for another 3-4years.
  4. 5” 4/0 superline Gamakatsu ewg
  5. Loosen after every trip
  6. Good to know you guys can say 100% you know you get more hits unpegged.
  7. Would you say it's anything like a 4 power Dobyns, or MH Loomis MBR in regards to power? Of course if you have any to compare it with. Think the heavy would be good for 1/2oz jigs, I usually use a Loomis 844 for 1/2oz jigs/swim jigs?
  8. I have a L and ML Feather that I love. Might want to try a heavier rod in this line. The reviews are all over the place on TW. The weight ratings aren't helping me out much. If you use these 7'1" Feathers what's your opinion on them? Thx
  9. I'd go with 30lb 832 I do like 20lb 832 on my 2 power Loomis casting rods though.
  10. Red Lable is fantastic leader line. I’d stick with it.
  11. My favorite too. A few weeks ago they were $3.25 ea. I bought 4!
  12. I use an old 09 Aldebaran MG7 on mine (ML Feather), and it's a great pairing.
  13. All I fish is either yellow or lime green braid to a leader on my casting rigs. I use both 832 and PP, and it's a great way to fish. Do it.
  14. I exclusively use 1/4oz minimax cb, and my favorite rod is an IMX-Pro 852 JWR. It’s a perfect match, and great for tons of other things too.
  15. The service number on the Daiwa site.
  16. Second time this happened to me. First time I needed two reel screws, and this time I needed some yoke springs; both times they were sent out free of charge. Talked to a human who was knowledgable, fast, and pleasant.
  17. For dock and light cover, the 744 would be a better choice. The 735 is pretty beefy.
  18. It's probably best to not disparage a proven bait and company on one experience. I have had a ton of them, all different versions of War Eagle spinnerbaits, and I've never had one problem. They catch tons of fish, are well made, and last a long time.
  19. GLX is fantastic, IMX-Pro is definitely no slouch. Get which you can afford. I use both versions
  20. Thinking of getting one for frogs/Jigs.
  21. I also use the Finger Saver rings.
  22. 2lbs of drag in your situation is not going to solve your problem.
  23. Reel into the fish while lifting the rod, you don't want to hit them hard. Your set up is good. You could also drop down to 8 or 10lb braid.
  24. Looks like they deleted Sprayed Grass, and a few others. I haven't bought any in quite a while. Did this happen a while ago?
